my work is very very cliquey!

 

its easy to join in the cliqueyness but does piss me off at times!

 

we all go out as friends as well as work mates so if summat happens out of work it gets dragged in 2 work and the birchyness starts!

My work place isnt so much cliquey, but full of backstabbers, to the point where they will deny it infront of them. I say, if u have sumin to say about someone, dont beat around the bush, tell them upfront, at least that way they dont think less of you by hearing it off someone else. [censored] it, i tell the cunts anyway, i couldnt care less.

 

A few of us in the company who often go out regulary, have a [censored] good bitch and moan about other people, we know we can trust each other etc, and nothing else will get passed on. I guess to a certain point im part of the cliqueyness, but not where anyone else knows. We even bitch mega [censored] highly about the lazy twat ass manager.

That's the problem with cliquey people though, it's a bit worrying when people feel this need to be a "member" of something. I couldn't give a [censored] what people think about me these days, I'd rather have a couple of really good mates than be a member of some cool "in-crowd".

If you log on at work then your employers will be able to check where u have been browsing, and what sites you have been looking at, and what u have downloaded and uploaded. Whether they care enough to check is another question. But assuming that they don't check may be unwise. You should also make sure that you on-line activity, is in line with your employers internet/e-mail use policy.

I know exactly what thats like - I had it in my last job where mostly it was older women & 1 younger girl & 1 younger guy - who i expected to get on with - instead from the start they jsut blanked me & left me out all the time - was only afta a while of other new peeps comin n goin I realised I got on well with the new ones & in a way we had our own cliquey little chats cept most of those got fired coz they didnt 'fit' in & I somehow outlasted 'em - still ending up back wit the 2 cliquey onesI I ended up having enough when I got a warning and jsut left writing the company a long letter telling 'em what I thought of 'em! Def best decision I made tho prob not the best idea for anyone else!! so not saying you should leave, mayb just look for another job and stick it out til then. I've had other jobs where girls r friendly so its jsut unlucky tho it does seem a lot r like it Where I am now its still horrible as I'm stuck out on my own with no other colleagues so only time I see peeps is in the kitchen n even that feels cliquey tho I woudlnt wanna go round with 'em anyway as their idea of excitement is going to the local pub on a fri nite!

Just stick it out - at least u say the hours go quick - eventually when sum1 else new starts ur'll prob get on with them n it'll get better. dunno if u've tried this but what i've done is jsut try smiling at 'em (even if i dont feel like it!) so least they have to try & be friendly, coz I sometimes wonder if they think its me being off coz I walk in and theres loads of them already standing there so I jsut ignore 'em! Hope it gets better anyway
