It seems quite an insecure phrase..

 

Must originate from someone who has to keep asking.. "do you understand waht the [censored] I'm on about?" after every sentence. Most likely from a multicultural place. Like the dole office. I can just hear the guy at the desk..

 

"You need to fill out these forms, yah get me"

 

"Bring it back tomorrow innit"

 

I could do that.

the one that annoys me though is when people spell the letter 'h' with an 'h' at the beginning?

Don't get me wrong- I love dialect and accents, it's just lazy English that's annoying
