Whilst I was living in South Africa for a while I got to know the local popular music scene over there and to my amazement, South Africans have got some twisted genres of harder dance music. Outdoor Trance (or Psi-Trance as we would call it) is simply known as Trance over there. However, they call our Trance, House-Trance, simply because its softer than what they're used to. I had many an argument with many a Saffa over this issue but you'll be gald to know that Hard House is still Hard House over there. Mind you, I have some crazy pictures of the outdoor Psi-Trance raves I went to. Slightly more twisted and strange for my liking.
