I have just got to the part where you play about with the service monorail thingy (after you get chainsaw - yay )

 

How far behind you am I in the game?? I knew I should have gone on an easier setting then 'veteran' cos its gettting fucking tough now

My son completed the first Doom by the time he was 4, although he did have the "invincibility" cheat on.

 

OK..you may say he was too young to play it but I dont believe in all that stuff. If a kid turns out bad, its totally down to the parents ( and by parents I mean, the people who look after them FULL TIME)

 

I was watching horror films when I was 6 and I've never killed anyone or even been tempted to attack anyone having pre-marital sex in a car.

haha the chainsaw is such a buzz (see what i did there?) but seriously its great, i love teh fountains of blod it throws up

 

ermm.. im playing the game at recruit difficulty cos im traditionally awful at shooting games, i'm more of an rpg man myself (shut up ginge)

 

it's still pretty damn touch tho, where i am atm there's getting fewer and fewer zombies and stuff, tehy are being replaced by marines with giant tentacles for arms and now Arch Viles which are ridiculously solid (they summon other bad guys near them, take 3 rockets to die and each hit from eitehr their claw or their flame blast takes off 20 hits.. ouch)... you should be approaching teh mancubuses in a few levels time, they are a blast the big fat lovely person and its great to see something so huge fly through teh air after a rocket hits them

 

i havent been playing doom 3 as much as i should be playing it recently, i guess i'll catch up on a few levels next time im bored enough

 

im on delta labs 3 btw... hell comes soon

How far away am I from Delta Labs?? Am guessing there is a fair bit to do because im gonna put money on the transmission not being sent, so I gotta get to delta labs and stop the problem at the source (would be no fun otherwise )

not played it but all the names of the monsters sound pretty familiar and sound as if they are the same just with improved graphics from the first 2

doom 3 is essentially a remake of doom, same martian setting and equivalent monsters and weapons altho the levels and pacing are totally different.. so half right

its a ridiculously scary remake of the orig :-)

had a decent session today and have no reached delta labs lvl2

 

Saved it in the room with the 'specimen' and their info.... i dont like the fact that there is a hellknight head + spinal column with 'partial info' in one of the tunes - cant be a good thing

 

One thing I have noticed though... played in daylight with speakers isnt nearly as scary/'jumpy' as when playing at night with headphones on

 

 

Also - is there another chance to get the bfg?? I saw it, but couldnt reach it (couldnt find the door code ANYWHERE!) and cant get back through teleporter now
