seriously, if you're not in your dream job, what would it take to make it happen? what's stopping you from doing it?

That reminds me of one of my favourite quotes from The Office. David Brent is giving Dawn her job appraisal, and she comments on how really she'd like to give up her job to become an illustrator.

Brent: "Keep up the doodling. Pipe dreams are good in a way."

I was TV the other night as part of an Archaeological survey of the Witham Valley, on a program called Britain AD. I was seen marking finds on a field.

Cool. In this day & age that makes you a celebrity!

In an ideal world, I would to have David Attenborough's job, it must be amazing.

But I am loving the subject I've chosen, maybe I will retrain as a zoologist in a few years

There is the obvious appeal of being a successful club DJ / producer type person.

However still on the subject of music, I think John Peel has one of the most enviable jobs in the world. He gets to play virtually whatever he wants, right across the board, talk crap in his amusing eccentric fashion, all in the comfort of his own home apparently, and get paid for it. Class!

I'd LOVE to be either a stunt man or something dangerous and exiting...like a parachute tester. grin.gifdevil.gif

or Fighter Jet tester? (someone who takes military aircraft up, and checks if they actually WILL do "what it says on the tin")

like pull 8 g's, loop the loop, go mach 2 , that sort of thing.

exciting. Dangerous!
