A kitten fell out of my flat window today

We're looking after a litter of kittens, and woke up this morning to faint piteous mewing

 

Went outside (we live in a 3rd floor flat) to find a bedraggled and rain-soaked kitten right under the window, I have never seen anything more pathetic in my life. Amazingly enough it seems absolutely fine, they must have special rubber bones or something

They are too small to die from a fall. Something to do with wind resistance, size and weight and other boffin related stuff.

yeah..i heard this on radio the other day,apparently in the 1920`s they chucked 100 of them off a building and only one died,all down to wind resistance and weight and stuff and something about the shape they form while plummeting acting like a parachute..
