hello

 

as some of you know i've been in london for a few months this summer. i'm currently in edinburgh catching up with friends and family here. i head back to london in just over a week but i'll only be there for one night before heading home to san francisco for a month.

 

after that, i'm off back up to the mountains in tahoe to teach snowboarding (and snowboard a lot ) for another winter.

 

it's been a really good trip for many reasons but large among them has been finally getting to spend some time with a bunch of CTWers. without exception, the people i've met have been wonderful, generous, interesting people and i'm only sorry it took me so long to get this together.

 

i'm not one for regrets but i am sad that i didn't get to spend more time with some of you. there's always next time.

 

so, it's not really goodbye but i am heading 6000 miles away again.

 

dates/activities for your diary:

 

snowboarding or skiing in tahoe. some of the best resorts (and snow) in north america surround lake tahoe. it's only about 3 hours drive north east of san francisco so it makes for a great trip for anybody who makes it. season starts around end of november and goes until about end of may.

 

the burning man festival in the nevada desert. dates for 2005 have not yet been announced but it's normally the week leading up to and including labor day weekend (first weekend in september). i don't yet know if i will attend in 2005 but its' certainly an option at this stage.
