if anyone has a spare 5 minutes i'd appreciate some feedback on this track i've attempted to make.

Not sure what genre it would fall into (i guess it has more psy trance elements than any other, but still am unsure)

the vocals need to be touched up, as the music in parts seem to make the less clear.

please remember that it's only my 2nd attempt, but i'd appreciate some constructive criticism

thanks for your time

Hey buddy!

I like it man! very evil!

A little more kickdrum with a couple of whooshy sounds leading up to a bigger crescendo should see you on the right path in my opinion.

Nice one!

Andy.

Yo, tony dude - most impressed - what software/vsts did u use

Follows some honest ideas, typed as soon as they came into my head whilst listening - albeit quietly at work !!

Its very open , perhaps some more mid range fx in the back ground to fill it out a little – in the beginning anyway

I personally think the vocal should be down pitched by about 5 but, retain original speed – spice it up a little! – distortion ? – Break down all else to just the vocal, pick out a bit, then work on that extracted “section” of vocal sample, might be one word or perhaps, a part of a word. This can then be treated as a percussion sound, high hat, clap area, that sort of thing. It can then morph back to the word or phrase it came from.

There needs to be more structure; how does a normal chart track go =

Intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, mid8, chorus, finish

You know what I mean, think of the various sections, where they are and how they are going to lead to the next one.

I like the sounds, speed, and intention of the tune. For a first or second effort its blindingly good.

Really annoying point is that I could only listen, via the html page on your site, couldn’t save as !? – couldn’t see the length of the tune – how long ?

Filters on a track are always good…

Excellent overall grin.gif
