Amnesia

About
Amnesia is a nightclub on the Spanish island of Ibiza, which opened in 1976.
The venue won the title of Best Global Club in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 at the IDMA Awards in Miami. The club is located close to the village of San Rafael on the highway between Sant Antoni de Portmany and Ibiza Town.

Bagleys

About
Bagleys opened in the early 90s and was the place to be, it had 4 rooms with mixture of dance music genres.  There was no bigger name than Bagley's.
Sadly it closed its doors in 2007 as the area was to be re-developed.

Basing House is located in Shoreditch, it opened in 2010 and has a capacity of 300.
It has a late license, open on Friday's & Saturdays, with occasional events on Thursdays

Batchwood Hall

About
Batchwood in St Albans is a building with a rich history dating back to 1874 when it was constructed for Lord Grimthorpe. This building gained significant local recognition when it was transformed into a nightclub in the 1970s. For over four decades, Club Batchwood served as a popular entertainment venue for the residents of St Albans. However, the nightclub eventually closed its doors in 2020, with reports suggesting the closure was influenced by the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, as of March 2025, Batchwood Hall is undergoing a significant transformation. Plans are in place to redevelop the historic building into a boutique hotel and restaurant, with an anticipated opening sometime in 2025.
The Batchwood Estate, where Batchwood Hall is situated, is also home to Batchwood Golf Course and a sports centre. It's important to note that these facilities operate independently from the former nightclub that was housed within the Hall. The sports centre, managed by Everyone Active, provides a range of activities and amenities, including a gym, tennis facilities, a bowls green, judo provisions, and exercise studios. Meanwhile, the Batchwood Golf Course continues to operate as a recreational facility for golfers.

Es Paradis

About
Es Paradis is one of several clubs in Ibiza. It is located in a large pyramid-shaped building, near the egg in Sant Antoni .
It's roof opens at times to let sunlight in for the plants inside. Es Paradis is known for it's Water Parties.

Fabric

About
With 3 massive spaces Fabric hosts resident and guest DJs playing drum & bass, dubstep, house and techno.
One of the rooms has a vibrating floor which emitted bass frequencies.
Fabric's licence was revoked on 7th September 2016 due to 2 drug-related deaths in the club, it was announced the venue would be close permanently.
On 21st November 2016 it was agreed the club could reopen with stricter conditions in place.

Garlands

About
Launched in 1993 Garlands nightclub became an overnight success and became the longest established Saturday resident dance night in the country. It was synonymous with glamour, craziness and its own unique ambience creating an environment where clubbers can be who they want to be, knowing they are in a very safe place. Garlands set the standard for three generations of clubbers.
Garlands Liverpool was a legendary nightclub known for its inclusivity, extravagant atmosphere, and role as a cornerstone of the city's LGBTQ+ scene.
Nicknamed "the Grand Dame of Liverpool nightlife," Garlands was known for pushing boundaries and accepting everyone. It faced challenges, including arson attacks and raids, but persevered as a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.
The building that once housed Garlands has been reborn as a new venue called Elysium. It opened in 2023 and aims to recapture the glamour and inclusivity of its predecessor, while offering a fresh take on the nightclub experience.
Unfortunately Garlands closed its doors after 25 years of making a lot of people very happy.

Gatecrasher One (Republic)

Gatecrasher One (originally called Republic) changed nightlife in the 1990s, becoming a legendary nightclub in Sheffield until it burnt down in a fire in 2007.

Heaven

Heaven is a gay superclub in Charing Cross, London, England. HoneyClub

About
The HoneyClub was a night club in in Brighton which permanently closed in 2010.
There are a couple of reasons that have been reported for the closure:
Market conditions The closure coincided with the financial crisis of 2008, which negatively affected many businesses, including nightclubs. People were spending less money going out, and there was increased competition in the Brighton nightlife scene. Change in management The company that originally ran HoneyClub went into administration, but the venue itself was taken over by a new company and briefly operated under a different name. The building that once housed HoneyClub has since been used for other purposes.

Mass was hosted in an old church, St Matthew’s Church, which had been converted into a 3 storey club which was right next to Brixton tube station.
Mass has now permanently closed down, it was the host of the hUJe and Paradise Soul events among many others such as Atomic Energy
