HoneyClub

About

The HoneyClub was a night club in in Brighton which permanently closed in 2010.

There are a couple of reasons that have been reported for the closure:

• Market conditions
  • The closure coincided with the financial crisis of 2008, which negatively affected many businesses, including nightclubs. People were spending less money going out, and there was increased competition in the Brighton nightlife scene.
• Change in management
  • The company that originally ran HoneyClub went into administration, but the venue itself was taken over by a new company and briefly operated under a different name.

The building that once housed HoneyClub has since been used for other purposes.
