The Peephouse, also known as Stinky's Peephouse and later briefly as My House, was a nightclub located on Brick Street in Leeds city centre, close to the coach station. It gained significant popularity in the 2000s, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community and among dance music enthusiasts, hosting renowned club nights like "Back to Basics" and attracting international DJs. Spread across three floors, the club was known for its strong Funktion One sound system and a distinctive "beach" themed smoking area. Although it closed in the mid-2010s after over a decade of operation, the venue remained a landmark and a source of nostalgia for many Leeds clubbers. Unfortunately, the derelict building was damaged by fire in August 2024, and plans have since been lodged to demolish it and construct student flats in its place.
