      ANDY JAMES

Greatest Achievement: Being involved in the famous Bradford radio station Paradise City Radio
Andy's talents are quite unbelievable, His favourite style is funky, soulful and vocal house, but he can play so much more. After having his own Friday night show on Paradise city radio he soon realised he could play a hefty mixture of Trance, Techno and early Hard House to a very receptive audience. After 10 years in the trade he has settled his music down to play more soulful house in way you have never seen before.
This has been proven after a yearlong Friday and Saturday night residency at Cafe Inseine in Leeds. To back up his DJ work he is now attending Leeds College of music and gaining himself a HND. At the same time he is also producing his own music and making a name for himself through remixing and production. His own projects have seen him start an Old School night at Elemental in Leeds and make regular Visits to Paul Taylor's Retro nights.

Residencies: Base, Housewives choice, Fluffy, HQ Amsterdam and many more
Greatest Achievements: Playing at Mainframe, Trade, Storm and Sundissential
DJ GRH, aka Gary Holden, is without a doubt one of the fastest rising stars on the club circuit right now. His versatility and tenacity makes him stand out from the rest, as he incorporates a heady blend of styles like Deep House, Hardcore & Techno into his Hard House sets. Gary does not like to be pigeonholed into a particular genre because he sees music as a universal language that needs to shown to everyone.
He has travelled all over the world and played in Australia, Canada, America, Ibiza and Scotland. His work has seen him play at Storm, Mainframe, HQ, Goodgreef, Garlands, Embrace, One Love, Nuklear Puppy and Hard Boiled to name but a few. He has won several DJ competitions, which helped kick-start, his career, and has been awarded Energy UK's DJ of the month. GRH has also found himself 3rd in the
4 Clubbers.net DJ of the year awards after Eddie Halliwell and James Zabiela.
This ability to read a crowd and make them listen is phenomenal, which is why he is in such great demand. He can even turn his skills to funky house for the more discerning crowd. Most recently Gary has teamed up with Paul Maddox from Tidy Trax and produced his first track called New York, New York which is a dark Techno tinged affair. This is due for release on Tidy's label this year. No doubt this will push his name further into the limelight and start to give more of the credit he deserves. If you want a big name to impress you crowd then DJ GRH will not disappoint you!

After teaming up a few years ago they started their own night called Cookie Dough at the Lemon Lounge in Liverpool. After creating a name for themselves and gathering a large following they have realised the potential they have to bring a crowd to its knees every time they get on the decks. Having played at Garlands and Peach on a regular basis they have now gained the knowledge they need to take on the rest of the world, which is what they will do for anyone that likes the real sound of House music.
      DJ GRAEME ROSS
Music: Hard House, Hard Trance & Old School
Residencies: Adrenalin, Zest, After Dark and Dance Factory
Greatest Achievement: Playing and writing for M8 Magazine
Graeme first started out as a DJ at the tender age of 14 when he was introduced to the early rave scene. At the age of 16 he was given his first break at an Edinburgh club called destiny, where he played alongside such luminaries as Shades of Rhythm, Dream Frequency, Ultrasonic and DJ Easygroove. This break and a little more hard work led to a weekly residency at an established and popular club called Adrenalin in Fife. This new role gave him the chance to play alongside some of the rave scenes biggest names from both England and Scotland. From there Graeme became involved in writing event and record reviews fro M8 Magazine for around 2 to 3 years. More gigs followed and it wasn't long before he was booked to play at Dance planet in Cornwall, an 8000 capacity rave by the sea. This performance led to a second booking from the promoter and also an impromptu stand-in set a Dance planet event at the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes. Since then he has gone on to play at Dance factory in Preston and Zest at the After dark in Leeds. He has now moved on from the rave scene and found his new musical home in the form of Hard House and is settling in quite nicely. He runs his own night in Edinburgh and somehow finds time to produce his own music.

Billy Black started DJ'ing 20 years ago. He has spent this time playing in clubs across the UK and Europe. Billy began DJ'ing in 1982 getting his first major break at upstairs, Downstairs (Leeds) where he entertained the crowds with a mix of soul, Funk and Disco. In 1990 Billy took a chance and went to Greece and soon found himself at Zero Disco bar (Zakynthos) where he managed to retain a 3-year residency. This opportunity enabled him to develop his sets by experimenting with different music styles and techniques. Since being back in the UK Billy has established himself in the North and found himself a residency with Cyberdog. DJ KUTSKI
      Music: Hard Trance & NRG
Residencies: Elevate, Base, Fluffy & Damnation
Greatest Achievement: Winning 2 DJ competitions!!
Kutski is by far a better scratch DJ/Turntablist than Eddie Halliwell. This may seem a bold statement to make, but once you have heard him no doubt you will also agree. To date he has played at Sundissential, Gatecrasher, Goodgreef, Base, Damnation, Parlez-vous and Elevate to name but a few. Wherever he goes he is guaranteed to woo the masses with his intriguing blend of hard trance and NRG topped off with a big helping of scratching and turntable tricks. His career started with sets alongside some of the most legendary hardcore dj's then progressed onto the Hardhouse/trance scene. In this time he has played alongside the great and the many, including Lisa Lashes and Rob Tissera. Alongside his mixing talents he has had time to produce his own records, whose release is imminent and will no doubt progress him further into eagerly awaited limelight. If you see Kutski's name on a flyer go check him out, if you can get pass the already feverish crowd that is!!
      EL CAPTINO
Music: Hard House, Trancecore / Freeform
      Residencies: Kemistry, Damnation & Cyberdog
Greatest Achievement: Playing for the Cyberdog crew
El Captino's introduction to the music scene began in 1997 with a fleeting dabble in the world of hardcore, house & trance. He soon found himself right in the middle of the Hard House scene and was soon whisked away by this bouncier sound. Since then he has incorporated trancecore and freeform into his sets along with a light sprinkle of NU NRG. This has made him stand out from the rest of his fellow DJ peers, and brought him much success by staying true to the music he loves. As well as playing at Kemistry he now co-promotes it, which in itself has brought him further notoriety. Cyberdog and Damnation have also asked him to step on board and help their already flourishing nights. Paul Glazby, Karim & Lee Haslam have all played after El Captino and have pointed out his panache for DJ'ing. This natural talent and flair will only help him create a bigger name for himself!!
      DJ EASTY
      Music: Trance & Hard Trance
      Residencies: Cyberdog Leeds
Greatest Achievement:  Winning a set at the Tidy weekender 2002
Although Easty only began experimenting behind the decks in June of 2000, the two years that have since elapsed have seen his continual rise, as both a DJ and in the dance music world. His first experience with what would soon become his art led career, was an unexpected invitation to DJ for Cyberdog in Leeds. He was not only met with growing support, but with excellent exposure, as his presence was soon brought to the attention of many promoters.
His future is brightly guided by continual and ever-more-promising engagements, such as a residency at Cyberdog and The Wednesday Wiggle, alongside DJ Chris Impact. His most recent engagement was at the Tidy weekender in Wales. After winning the 4clubbers.net DJ Competition he won over a crowd of 6000 people.
He has a magical way of incorporating many styles of dance music into one set.
He's unique, fast, uplifting and energetic, three characteristics of any performer, which distinguish his sound as an unforgettable experience.

    • SarahPVC
Tim has been a dj and performer since 1985 working originally with the Utah Saints, who gave him his first break. Then regularly worldwide but particularly at Back to Basics (UK), Cream (UK), Fabric (UK), AKA/The End (UK) HQ/Spirit (Dublin), Space (Ibiza) and along with Steve Lawler he was the weekly resident at Home in London's Leicester Square. He was the first dj to play officially at Glastonbury and then onto all other UK festivals and has done since at every one, every year. He is the dj of choice for industry events and his band Dope Smugglaz have been number one in the UK dance charts and one of the few acts to cross the tightly policed commercial/underground boundaries. For the UK's one and only Love Parade (the largest outdoor event attendance in the UK ) Tim played the first and last record and Dope Smugglaz were the only live act to perform, a day still held by Tim to be his best. His essential mix for Radio One during his Dope Smugglaz period gained the most enquires ever to reach essential mix producers Wise Buddah at that time.
As a remixer he has provided electronic revisions for Moloko, New Order, Talvin Singh, The Beach Boys, Jon Carter, the Human League, Brand New Heavies and Arthur Baker to name only a few.
His non-electronic ventures are too long to list but significantly he started Kiss FM Radio for the North of England, a box office breaking exhibition at Leeds City Art Gallery and has been a reasonably successful actor and media pundit. He has been a radio broadcaster for Kiss and Radio One and a television presenter for MTV. He recently started an anti-war campaign on the internet which spanned the music industry and beyond, gaining over a thousand participants and led to a boycott of the Miami Winter Music conference in protest. He is still politically active.
He was the first new resident for Manumission since Smokin Jo was taken on board 5 years ago and the first DJ ever they have flown in weekly. Along with Har Mar Superstar he hosted 'The Music Box' for Manumission to oversee their transformation into a modern sounding club. During that special year he played back to back with the legendary Alfredo on the Space Terrace weekly. Danny Tenaglia, Smokin Jo and Junior Sanchez also played back to back with Tim that summer. It is believed Tim is the only DJ to have played back to back with Tenaglia. New Stars like Audio Bully's, Ivan Smagghe, The Rapture, Fat Truckers, Ewan Pearson, Blackstrobe, Justin Robertson, Jaques Lu Cont and DJ's Not Rockstars also joined Tim on the decks in Ibiza and he also enjoys a great relationship with Bora Bora (Ibiza). In Partnership with GoingGreen, Pioneer, Vestax, Shure and JBL he designed and operated his 'Underground 2003' mobile sound system at various locations in Ibiza with particular emphasis on the DC10 closing after party in Can Tomas which has now passed into legend.
This year Tim has joined forces with international star Smokin' Jo to form their nastydirtysexmusic parties at various locations. From free parties on beaches, to a major residency at Ministry of Sound London and a world tour, nastydirtysexmusic has been one of the success stories of 2005. Also expect record releases and mixes under the nastydirty banner. Time Out magazine recommend nastydirtysexmusic as their Number One 'critics choice' for nightclubbing in London.
Tim is first and foremost a producer and musician and plays several instruments but finds his true home is in the studio.
He has started the label 'Saville Row' with DJs Jon Carter and Dave Chambers to critical acclaim and has many releases forthcoming as well as his recent work with Arthur Baker. Several releases are scheduled for 2005. He writes freelance for most music publications, DJ Magazine, JACK magazine and wrote every issue for 'Jockey Slut'.

    • Vicky Devine
Vicky Devine is rapidly becoming known as one of the most talented female DJ/Producers within the current UK dance scene.
Vicky has worked within the music industry from the moment she was old enough to club!!!! - firstly as a magazine club reviewer for Dream and Eternity magazines, then as a stage dancer - dancing at many top UK dance events including Dreamscape and Helter Skelter, before also becoming involved in a promotional capacity for UK based dance events. There was always a DJ inside though, and this coupled with her incredible passion for music and the support of family and friends alike eventually helped her to realise her dream. Starting in 1996 practicing in her friends bedroom every day after college, she has since gone on to wow many clubs in the UK, across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia with her DJing talents. She has rapidly become known for her driving trance and hard trance sets, although she also now regularly plays on a more funky tip also.
Her drive, determination and love of the dance music scene initially won her a residency at the most successful all female DJ event to date - Charlys Angelz. The night enjoyed two amazingly successful years (2001 and 2002) at beautiful Club Summum in Ibiza, and Vicky not only played at every event but also promoted the night and relative pre-parties. Charlys Angelz has since toured at venues across the world including Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Dubai and at clubs throughout the UK in conjunction with Flipside DJs. In addition the brand has hosted arenas at the mighty Sundance outdoor festivals (Ibiza 2001) and at two of the huge Big Reunion events in Skegness (2001 & 2002), as well as holding its own at the well established residents nights at Bananas in Majorca (2002) and Play 2 in Ibiza (2002, 2003 and 2004). It has received, and continues to receive rave reviews from many of the top UK clubbing magazines and internet clubbing sites, and remains an integral part of Vicky’s DJing career.
Over the past few years, Vicky has also developed a love for the studio and has devoted much time to both creating, and learning the technical aspects of writing music from her heart - trance!!! Her first release written back in 2000 (as part of trance duo Sweet Asylum) went down a storm on the dance floors of Ibiza in summer 2001. The tune, also called Sweet Asylum, was released through Infectious Distribution, and was licensed to Pendragons Power Trance and Nu NRG album mixed by Mark Sinclair. Her second track entitled Angelz, also produced under the Sweet Asylum guise was signed by UK based record label Solar and is currently being remixed. Her third track entitled Fearing Nothing, co-written with @Sophie Sugar, was released at the beginning of 2003 on dutch label F-Active Music where the track was produced.  Vicky is currently now back in the studio working on her first solo tracks. The first of these entitled Entravanse is currently doing the rounds on CDR and is already being played by some of trance’s top music jocks. This and her follow up tracks which will be completed within the coming months are certainly something to watch out for in 2005.
The past couple of years have been an absolute roller coaster for Vicky with things going from strength to strength. She has participated in numerous tours including the SLINKY Asia tour in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (2003), the SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE tour in India, the aforementioned Charlys Angelz tour in New Zealand and Australia (2004), and she has now completed  four successful seasons in Ibiza. Indeed the past two years on the white isle have been massive for Vicky. She has been a regular face at San Antonio’s superclub Eden in both 2003 and 2004 summer seasons, with guest slots at the massive Judgement Sundays (2004), Lashed (2003) in addition to completing a weekly residency at Tonic vs Pams House (2003). She has also played at many of the other top bars and clubs on the island including guest slots at Space and El Divino (2003 and 2004), and yet still found the time to front the hugely popular Angelz Westend Showcase at Play 2 every Saturday night alongside guests. Vicky has also been a regular feature at Majorca’s superclub BCM (2004), with a weekly residency at new night - Angelz of Funk.
Radio work has also featured heavily in Vicky’s career to date. Last summer, Vicky was made Ibiza correspondent for Kiss 100FM, providing weekly reports for her own Talking Balearics slot on Steve Smart's show every Saturday night.  This is indeed a job she is used to, having also been Ibiza correspondent for local radio station Fire 107.6FM in Bournemouth for the past three years. She again has provided weekly reports, interviews and guest mixes, and has also helped coordinate and present Fire In Ibiza - 6 weeks worth of shows over the past three seasons - live from the studios at the infamous Cafe Mambo. This work was submitted for entry by the station for the Sony awards and has been recognised as a huge achievement for a relatively small station. Work with both stations continues throughout the winter and there are plans also for the next season on the white isle.
Here at the beginning of 2005, the roller coaster ride seems set to continue for Ms Devine. With further gigs throughout the UK, Europe and beyond already lined up, and exciting studio collaborations in the pipeline for yet more tracks - it seems there really is no stopping this girl. The past year has indeed been Vicky’s biggest year to date, but sets the stall for an even bigger future.

He has a total of 4 residencies and has played on Groove FM, Real FM and Dimension FM. Phew! It is fair to say this is a DJ who really knows how to work a crowd, and that is exactly what he has done at Sundissential, The Mezzanine and Premonition.

She has successfully played all over the country making a real name for herself with her no holes barred approach to euphoric, main room sets. Her greatest strength comes in the form of her own production material, which shows her true understanding and love for hard dance music.
