image.pngNEW RESIDENT, NEW CLUB, NEW WAY TO GO

Biography: FROM BANK CLERK TO SUPERKID, TEABOY TO TURNTABLE TEASER,...whichever way you look at it, Reece Elliot is already on his way! Still only 23, his trademark Trance supersound has secured him main room action for Clockwork Orange @ Camden Palace, Gallery @ Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, The Cross, Hanover Grand, The Glasshouse and Aquarium  not forgetting his already hugely acclaimed residency for Wildchild @ Heaven (possibly the most exciting promotion to come out of London in years  having been voted second biggest night by Radio 1s Essential Selection, and currently held at number 36 in Mixmags top 75 nights in the country).

Wildchild is definitely an impressive night to be resident at, and the way we see it, no-one could fit the bill as well as Reece does. After all, who else could have filled in for M.I.K.E (Push) at such short notice*, only to get swamped at the end of his set by over-awed clubbers all wanting to shake M.I.K.Es hand? When you consider all this, its hardly any wonder that Reece has already been billed alongside (so far) the likes of Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Tall Paul, John Kelly, Signum, Cosmic Gate, Lange, JFK, Matt Hardwick, Tidy Boys, BK, Andy Farley, and Rob Tissera - as well as newer names such as Eddie Halliwell, Daniel Bailey, Pulser and Adam Sheridan  names which, like Reece Elliot, are all undoubtedly the ones to watch out in the next few months.

The onslaught of Wildchild (which burst out on the scene last November to riotous success), and the introduction of Reece onto the capitals club circuit is exciting enough; however, these are not the only results that have erupted from his burgeoning musical talent. His outstanding production under his secret pseudonym has seen one particular release supported to almost manic proportions across the airwaves courtesy of radio jocks such as Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Graham Gold  and has consequently won him such accolades as Graham Golds Kickin Cut on Kiss FM, and Judge Jules' Web Chart Winner with a massive 29,000 votes. As if all that wasnt enough, his latest release under the pseudonym turned out to be practically every DJs choice of tune for NYE. Both Armin van Buuren and Judge Jules played this track in Los Angeles and Donagul Square in Belfast respectively (the latter being broadcast live to over 1.5 million over the airwaves); while Tiesto chose to drop it as his last record of the night @ Times Square in New York.

Despite all this, though, perhaps the most indicative factor of Reece Elliots new phenomena, is the way that other clubs are already pushing him forward. Last November, The Gallery presented A Month of Future Heroes, with 5 of their most established superstar DJs handpicking their own personal 'Future Heroes' to play at the club. The month saw Fergie introduce Petrae Foy, Judge Jules give Eddie Halliwell his Gallery blessing - and Sister Bliss move over from the hallowed Turnmills tables to present Reece Elliot with a chance to take up the gauntlet and keep The Gallery rocking for another seven years. Exciting, innovative, talented and frenzied, Reece Elliot is one of, if not the, new Superstar DJs of the next generation. Witness him next @ Wildchild @ Heaven on March 14th  but, as anyone who has seen him before can testify, youd better be prepared.
