Following a fantastic kick off to 2006 on Jan 5th, Addiction returns to Freedom for our 2nd party of the year.
With our new evolved music policy of uplifting trance, tech trance, and UK Hard Trance we've been searching the capital and beyond for DJs that have never played for us before and tonight we present not 1, not 2 not even 3 but 4 Addiction Debuts !
First up on the decks is Addiction favorite James Terry, standing in for the advertised DJ Mat Lock. Since we discovered James in our 1st DJ Competition in 2004 he's developed into a highly technical DJ with incredible taste in Trance. With some strong potential bookings in the pipeline at the moment this is going to be his year so watch this space. Up next is Del Walsh, a DJ that’s no stranger to the London circuit. Having played for Innovate, Polysexual South, Basic and Spangulation to name a few he comes highly recommended and we can't wait to have him down to lose his Addiction cherry. Next we have a relatively new DJ who’s already making big waves. Fusing PVD style trance with Adam Sheridan style tech trance and techno, Alan Banks has already attracted the likes of Wildchild and Tidy Vs Extreme Euphoria. His latest demo CD is absolutely fantastic, so again we really can't wait to get him behind our decks. Following Alan is Jurrane, who's both promoter of London Trance night Boundless and owner of Magic Beans Recordings. Tipped to be the next Ian Betts this young man has been playing across town for the likes of Twisted, Heat, & One and with a forthcoming set for Knowwhere's farewell party its fair to say that 2006 is also going to be a very promising year for him. Next up and really picking up the pace is someone who should need no introduction. Snake has been DJ'ing in London longer than most. With countless appearances for Frantic & Riot, not too mention HeatUK and Fahrenhite, this is one very technically gifted DJ you wont want to miss. Finally last, but by no means least. Addiction Promoter and Resident Andy T will step up to give you one last hour of UK Hard Trance, featuring forthcoming tracks from Addiction Digital, as well as some of today's freshest tunes and a few classics thrown in for good measure.
This is also your last chance to bring us a demo for our In Search of Trance DJ Comp. If you think you've got what it takes then don't miss out !
Its Happy hour at the Bar all night too !
Hope to see you there
