In several countries the local StarDJs will be selected by a public voting. The winners will take part in a tremendous final event, where the one and only StarDJ will be chosen.
We are looking for DJs who would like to prove their talent to a large audience under professional conditions. The participation is without any fees. A lot of publicity, breathtaking events, attractive prices, CD productions and international bookings! Be a part of it!
All kinds of music and styles will be supported.
If you are under 18 years, no problem: a separate contest will be organized for this group of age!

Come join us as we prepare to celebrate the return of London’s biggest outdoor dance event [b]South West Four[/b] in fine style on [b]Saturday 15th April[/b] for an evening of audio delights featuring one of the [b]biggest DJs on the planet: Carl Cox[/b] …& friends as he kick starts this summers proceedings by unveiling the line up for this years event!
Following two years of [b]completely sold out[/b] events the [b]South West Four[/b] is all systems go for 2006 as she returns [b]bigger, better[/b] and [b]much stronger [/b] than before. What began as a party for 10,000 friends on [b]Clapham Common[/b] in 2004 quickly doubled in capacity last summer to see [b]20,000 dance music fans[/b] converge for an afternoon of the best music played by some of the biggest DJ’s on the planet such as [b]Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Rampling, Steve Lawler, John 00 Fleming, Lisa Lashes[/b] and [b]Carl Cox[/b].
[b]Carl[/b] enjoyed last summers event so much he immediately asked to this year, not just to DJ but to officially host this summers event and not wanting to do things by half, [b]Carl is the official figurehead for South West Four 2006[/b]. At the launch, Carl will be performing an [b]exclusive 4 hour set[/b] to officially launch this summers event alongside a stage show set to blow you away.
Joining [b]Carl[/b] in the [b]4,500 capacity main room[/b] will be friends [b]Mr C[/b], front man of notorious late 80’s techno outfit The Shamen and owner of The End nightclub in London and the man – legend that is [b]Tim ‘Nastydirtysexmusic’ Sheridan[/b].
[b]The foyer [/b] will see London’s hottest breaks event [b]Platform 12[/b] turn up the bass as they welcome world famous DJ/ Producer, Fabric resident and owner of Lot49 records [b]Meat Katie[/b] to headline the proceedings alongside [b]Air’s Ali B, Future Funk Squad[/b] – who’ll be launching their new album ‘Audio Damage’ on the night - plus[b] Platform 12 residents, Clive Morley, Lady Killer [/b] and [b]Travis Lucas [/b] ensuring [b]The Foyer [/b] is rocked to its very foundations whilst upstairs sees Hot & Spicy, Plush De Funk and Dirty Groove serve up the best is tough and funky house.
** Please note this event is not simply ‘another’ club night at the Academy. Alongside Carl’s special launch ceremony [b]expect stage shows, performers [/b] and [b]festival oddities [/b] alongside opportunities for attendees to not only be the first in line for their [b]South West Four[/b] festival tickets but to also enter [b]exclusive competitions, giveaways[/b] and chances to win [b]VIP packages[/b] to this summers main event.
As part of this summers [b]Metro Weekender[/b], the [b]South West Four[/b] festival takes place over the [b]August Bank Holiday weekend in London[/b]. The [b]‘Weekender’[/b] will also be doubling up in [b]Cardiff[/b] on the same weekend for the first time and this year’s events will see us join force with our friends at [b]Get Loaded in the Park[/b] for the first time too, as we offer clubbers in both cities joint tickets to gain entry to both events!
