NTE Presents David Forbes

We are absolutely delighted to have David Forbes performing at NTE with an exclusive 2 Hour Set, this will be his debut in Newcastle and he will be bringing his trademark banging Tech Trance to Powerhouse. David is one of the most diverse and consistent producers out there. That's a rare find these days. David’s experience and knowledge of the industry is unparalleled and this has resulted in him producing in a multitude of styles and there hasn’t been a label that his Midas productions haven’t graced over the years with releases on the scene’s most respected labels.

Joining him are two very talented North East based artists, the dynamic duo Hayes & Harker and the Trance Takeover boss Conner Boyle. Our resident team will be back on support for this one also.

David Forbes

With an illustrious musical career spanning nearly two decades and a production discography that would make any A-list electronic music producer proud, David Forbes stands as one of the UK's most respected and versatile artists of our time.

Releasing on labels like WAO138, Subculture, Armind, Outburst Records, ITWT, Statement, Anjuna Beats, Vandit, Spinnin, Reset, Oxygen, Perfecto, Liquid, Doorn, Ferry Corsten's Flashover Recordings, Captivating Sounds, and many more. His productions have found their way onto legendary compilations curated by the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, and the iconic Tiesto - who featured 'Answers' on his legendary 'Tiesto in Concert' DVD, David being the only UK artist featured.

David’s performances have graced stages in Ibiza, Holland, Brazil, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Austria, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Mexico, and prestigious festivals such as Poland’s Sunrise Festival, Dreamstate, and Germany’s Nature 1 Festival – sharing the stage with Deadmau5. He has also appeared at The Reading & Leeds Festival, Homelands, Coloursfest, Ministry of Sound (Singapore & London), Full on Ferry, Colours, Inside Out, and multiple Tiesto shows in Scotland, including his iconic SECC world tour. Impressively, David has completed 13 interstate tours of Australia, headlining the Utopia event in front of 20,000 people in the Sydney Super Dome stadium.

On the label front, David’s own Aria Digital & Midimal labels have continued to flourish, with the former celebrating its 100th release. These labels provide a perfect platform for David’s latest collaborations and offer an opportunity for budding talents in the electronic music scene.

Over the past 15 years, it’s rare to find a DJ who hasn’t included a David Forbes production, or one of his many aliases, in their sets. With almost two decades of experience in both production and DJing, David Forbes stands as a testament to the perfect modern-day electronic artist, and his legacy continues to reverberate through the world of electronic music.

Hayes & Harker

Hayes & Harker are two talented DJs from Middlesbrough who have been active in the DJ scene since 1998. After many years of friendship Hayes & Harker joined forces in 2021. A year later they won a DJ competition to play alongside the misfit legend, Ben Nicky, at the very first Misfits night Since then their careers have taken off & they have booked to play alongside other big names in the hard dance scene including Andy Whitby, Paul Clark, Argy, Hannah Taylor, Paul Clark & David Rust. In 2023 the played the last ever Kiddstock set taking over the decks from Code Black. So far in 2024 they have been booked to play alongside Symmetrik, Andy Whitby, Shugz & Will Atkinson. With a debut in Scotland & many more in the pipe line, this year looks the biggest one yet for the duo,. Hayes & Harker bring their own unique twist to music and always have fun while performing. They love to interact with the crowd and their passion for music is evident in their performances. This dynamic duo is definitely one to watch out for.

Conner Boyle

Conner Boyle is a rising Trance producer and DJ whose music has attracted global attention. So far, he's achieved hundreds of thousands of streams worldwide, had two consecutive Beatport Top50 releases and has been signed to some of the scene's most respected labels. With a growing reputation as both a producer and DJ, Conner is cementing his place as one of Trance's most promising new talents. In 2026 Conner started his own brand Trance Takeover that is bringing top talent to the North East and the brand continues to grow giving a platform for local talent to shine also! The future is very bright for Conner and we can’t wait for him to grace the NTE stage!
