Saturday 26th September

Depot Mayfield, Manchester

On Saturday, 26th September, Homobloc returns to the illustrious Depot Mayfield for its seventh edition. This time, the block party steps into the light for an end of summer celebration, uniting artists, performers and clubbers in a space where freedom and self-expression rule the dancefloor - featuring their most club-heavy line-up to date.
Featuring a lineup of in-demand acts, Homobloc proudly puts queer artists right at the top of the bill. This year’s headliner is Grammy Award-winning pop star Kim Petras, an iconic artist who has climbed to huge heights with tracks like ‘Need For Speed’, ‘Coconuts’ and ‘XXX’, plus collaborations with the likes of Sam Smith and Charli xcx. Kim Petras will be joined by a host of esteemed global artists including Cobrah, a special b2b set from Chicago’s Honey Dijon and Derrick Carter, all-female DJ collective Girls Don't Sync and Manchester’s beloved DJ Paulette.
S.A.S.S. – the powerhouse quartet of Saoirse, Moxie, Peach and Shanti Celeste brings together four of the most dynamic DJs to Manchester for the first time as a collective. Known individually for their vibrant selections and razor-sharp transitions, the foursome channels a joyful, high-octane synergy brimming with plenty of sassy energy and infectious exuberance - a perfect way to close the proceedings in the Concourse. This year, Homobloc DJs are brought to the fore more than ever, with S.A.S.S joined by Homobloc favourites including Job Jobse, Palms Trax, Aiden Francis, BASHKKA, Horse Meat Disco, Gina Breeze and Isabella.
Beyond its musical line-up, Homobloc continues to set itself apart through one of the UK's most ambitious queer performance programmes featuring performers and collectives, The Homodolls. Curated by Creative Director Sophie Bee, more than 150 Homodolls will bring the festival to life through drag, dance, theatre and immersive performance across every corner of Depot Mayfield. Highlights include We Were Always Here, a new dance collaboration from Maisha Kungu Dance (MKD) celebrating FLINTA identities; PU RAUL'S SUPERMODELS from Club Rat Entertainment, featuring Drag Race UK stars Banksie, Awhora, Black Peppa and Marmalade; Shrek 666's immersive new work Putting the T in Trade; the return of Angel Bella Presents: The Strippers of MCR; and Blackstage Pole, whose electrifying performance became one of last year's defining moments. Together, these performances reaffirm Homobloc's reputation as a festival where queer creativity extends far beyond the dancefloor.
Homobloc is proud to celebrate 35 years of FLESH in 2026. Born at The Haçienda, Flesh played a crucial role in normalising LGBTQ+ culture within the mainstream and became a symbol of the progressive spirit of the 90s. A true trailblazer of LGBTQ+ nightlife, Flesh was also groundbreaking in giving a platform to the club’s first female resident DJs. This September, FLESH returns in spectacular style to take over the upstairs of the Star & Garter, featuring a lineup of legendary FLESH residents including Tim Lennox, Kath McDermott, Guy Williams DJ Paulette, Mike Hux plus a special appearance from Adeva. Expect a euphoric celebration of house, disco and queer club heritage as one of Manchester’s most influential nights once again creates a dancefloor where freedom, music and community collide. Downstairs in the Star & Garter, Manchester dyke party Butch Revival will bring their northern lesbian energy, alongside Islington Mill’s trans-centered community pop club nightlife collective T4T. Other acts to grace the pub include Jamie Bull, Flygirl$, Bruk Out, Dandy, Hello Darling, and Mixfag.
Homobloc takes over the full expanse of Depot Mayfield including the three main stages - Depot, Concourse, Archive, plus additional stages across the historical Star & Garter pub and Vault - a brand new 1,000-capacity stage set to debut at this year’s event in the former ticket hall of Depot Mayfield.
Vault will be hosted by hair-salon-slash-club-night-slash-immersive-theatre-show Ponyboy - a queer Glasgow-based club night dedicated to platforming trans and nonbinary people. Hailed as one of the best club nights in the UK and even globally by the likes of FADER and Time Out, Ponyboy is renowned for its fierce high fashion meets drag outfits, performance artists and DJs.
On curating the new Vault stage, Ponyboy comments: “Our nights are always a cultural happening, but with new eyes on us and a brand new stage to break in, we're turning up the juice and seeing what shakes loose, to quote a wise poet. We've admired what Homobloc does for years, and debuting a new stage isn't an undertaking we take lightly, so everyone kindly relax your throats and glue down your lace because we're about to shut Manchester down.”
Debuting the new space, the stage will feature a diverse range of artists including Afro Pasifika DJ Lady Shaka, NYC-based DJ and activist Armana Khan, Berlin based artists Meg10 and Luca Eck, and one of London’s most exciting DJ’s I.Jordan, plus a rare DJ set from Dorian Electra.
Over in Depot Mayfield’s intimate Archive space, independent label and artist collective Live From Earth play host to a Berlin-heavy lineup featuring LSDXOXO, DJ Gigola, Perra Imunda, Alcatraz, MCR-T and Miss Bashful. Headlining the stage will be none other than Cobrah performing a special hybrid DJ/live set.
Rod Connolly from Homobloc, comments: “We are excited to present our first ever summertime edition of Homobloc, bringing together global queer icons, underground heroes, and the next generation of artists who we trust in pushing queer culture and electronic music forward.
In times like these, the connection felt at large-scale events like Homobloc are absolutely crucial for the community. A sea of 10,000 souls all under one roof, dancing ‘til we are free. It’s so powerful. You leave knowing that we are the many, and the people who demonise us are the few.”
Pre-sale will be live on Thursday 9th July at 10am
General sale will be live on Friday 10th July at 10am
