Wad, formerly known as Technisia, is a 25-year-old DJ and producer from Liverpool. Now three years into his journey, things are moving quickly — and for good reason.

He entered the scene in 2023, breaking through the underground techno circuit with sets at North Shore Troubadour, Meraki, and a support slot for Jason Cluff at WAV. A major early milestone came with a set in the main rooms of Liverpool’s iconic venues Invisible Wind Factory and club 051 establishing him as a rising local name with serious potential. His sound also travelled outside Merseyside with bookings in Edinburgh, Bangor, Pontypridd and Cardiff, expanding his presence beyond his home city.

In 2024, Wad stepped back from regular DJ bookings to focus on production — a move that led him towards a lighter, more groove-led sound and a shift back to his roots in house. The transition paid off. Since then he has supported Alan Fitzpatrick at District in Cardiff, made his festival debut at Together Again Fest in July alongside names like Danny Howard, D.O.D, Lovely Laura, Richy Ahmed, Alisha, LP Rhythm and Joss Dean, and in September 2025 reached a huge milestone with his Ibiza debut, playing at Ibiza Rocks Bar, Plastiks and the renowned Linekers Bar then the year after went to make his debut at Eden Ibiza.

Between shows, he continues to showcase his evolving house sound, building a strong following across Liverpool while self-releasing music and mixes on SoundCloud that has gained solid traction and positive feedback.

With a reputation for versatility, energy behind the decks, and a sharp ear for selection, Wad is one to watch — a DJ unafraid to switch lanes, step forward and make it count.
