Got myself one of these and i must say i'm very impressed. Same quality as the CDJ1000 but quiet a bit cheaper (got mine for a nice little price too)

Make sure you've got ''Tracktor DJ Studio 2'', by Native Instruments installed on your pc. This is the best pc based mixing package i've used - it's spot on! It's got so many features on it - it's got an EQ for each channel, resonance, hi/mid/lo pass filters and plenty of other effects too, you can record your mixes .... you can also do all the effects you can on a normal turntable, including scratching! The only drawback is that you need 2 soundcards to be able to run it properly (so that you can cue the 2nd tune up while the first is playing ... as you normally would) but i'd not let this put you off ..... this is a serious piece of kit This gets a definite 9…

The reason I ask at the moment is cos I was thinking of putting a little tune I had been working on using Reason on thsi site (alas only for those of you who own Reason). Reason has a "self-contained" facility on it, does it not, which publishes something in a "read-only" format? I warn you now, it is 61bpm, atmospheric and meant to be listened to by serial killers!!

Freano has now finished Volume 2 and is now in the hands of my good self, not even a bribe of a Dunky Doughnut will get this off me so dont even try! Could Vol 2 better Vol 1, as impossible as it sounds but yes it IS! Both Volume 1 and Volume 2 will be on the site shortly for all of you guys to hear as well as Tony P's mixes!!!

Right, here's the plan; ClubtheWorld is going to start knocking up a few hundred copies of a CD. And the tracks on it are going to be provided by YOU. I know for a fact that we have some [censored] hot production talent on this site, and basically I want everyone out there to send me their strongest tracks for inclusion on the CD. Any style of music is allowed, I want to further dispel the illusion that we are a 'hard dance' website. Anyone interested by this please PM me, and I'll send you further details. Wub X

Can anyone recommend any decent VSTi plugins? (preferably that i can get off kazaa)

I'm still pretty new to mixing, despite having my decks for over a year, and one of the main problems i'm having is getting the volume levels the same when i'm mixing from one tune to the next. Is there any was u can monitor this reasonably acurately, any help on this would be very useful. As would any other help
