I'm still pretty new to mixing, despite having my decks for over a year, and one of the main problems i'm having is getting the volume levels the same when i'm mixing from one tune to the next. Is there any was u can monitor this reasonably acurately, any help on this would be very useful. As would any other help

Who recommends which ones?

I am going to do a 60 min mix soon and i was wondering if anyone on here would like me to do one and put it on the internet?? I think i am gonna do 2 60 min mixes, One mix playing Trance And Techno, Whilst The Other One will be hard trance and hard house.... If your interested then let me know

Anybody seen or had a go on the new Denon CD deck? it has a platter like a record deck, wiv the strobe dots. it feels like its got a record on top, a lil smaller obviously. but get this....the platter actually spins, so u can control the cd like u would a record!

Why is this a locked thread? I am interested, I wouldn't be showcasing anything by Razorangel, as we will be working on our demo in the summer, but would be interested in writing a minimalist piece just to add in, how do I sign up?

I'm off to some Roland road show Mcjobby tonight, and I'm thinking of getting an SP505. This would mean that I can take samples off records/comp and have them ready to play at any point in a mix. And you can piss about with effects on the samples and the tunes your playing Just wondered if ne1 else used one, and how helpful they found it.
