i was told the carl cox tent wasnt there due to bad ticket sales....was this true???

was in the tidy tent all night, fecking awesome but i missed andy farley at the end due to my own silly fault - also Sarah was going to introduce me to him so I'm doubally stooopid!!

I was really f*cked off about the lack of carl cox arena, as that was the main reason I went. I have complained to gatecrasher because they didn't give out any warning or anything, its not as if those arenas go up in an afternoon. I thought the event was a bit poor overall in terms of layout and info.

I couldnt fault the Tidy tent - in fact I would have paid 50 squids just for that one tent (well, not 'the' tent if you know what i mean! This also exludes the poles - I'm talking about the sound setup, the DJs and the people).

 

O yeah, and these goggle thingies with flashing lights were fecking kkkkeeeeeeewwwwll !!! I want some now!!

the bedrock arena was pretty good, DT's six hour set was also rockin at the end, never even made it over to see any of the live acts buit i heard chemical bros were rockin as well, PVD and Tiesto were also good in the main tent, and the Tidy Tent was good as well, nearly too much to do to get the whole experience, passing out in the middle of it didnt help either

some of my mates went, they said it was wicked!! but they got pulled over by the police on the way home and searched there car for drugs and found some of the driver and he got taken to the cells!

we also saw the birth of the first CTW business enterprise spinoff, Creamy's Stranded Clubber Taxi Service

battered from 5pm.

 

wanted to meet everyone, but could get through on the phones.

 

Danny T was ace, as was pete tong before him.

 

sasha and digweed b2b were also good, and James Zabeila rocking the bedrock tent at 5 in the afternoon was one of the highlights.

 

groove armada were loud, and the valve soundsystem in the dnb tent was

 

it was a good night,. shame the Carl Cox arena wasn't there, as i wanted to get mistress barbara.

Well i thought it was brilliant! could have spent all night in the Tidy tent and not moved! Tho i couldnt miss Pablo doing a bungee jump! Well done mate!!

scot project was not playing i don't think - though you would have liked pvd, then ricky effe, then picotto - superb. met your sister in the main arena, which was surprising considering its size!

heard a rumour that cos of the unexpected low turn out they are thinkin about making this the last SSS.

i heard that to, its been a strange year for clubbing most superclubs are falling to there knees, now the usually reliable festivals which are guaranteed money earners for the clubs are not doin too well.

Well personally from people ive spoke to who promote clubs think the attraction for this year are firly big events like Global gathering which will be succeful!!!

I think half of it stems from having about 4 or 5 really big clubbing festivals. There just simply isnt enough people to around them all...

they cant even pull off one of these in america, tried last year to have a creamfields in LA and NYC and had to cancel them
