Just to let you know that XLR8 @The Fridge, Brixton was F*CKING AMAZING and now OFFICIALLY my number one hard house club in and around London. Obviously I have loads more clubs to visit but you will be HARD PUSHED to find a better club. The balance between, lighting, people, vibe and the attention to detail was spot on. Only downside I'd say is the price of alcohol (£4 a beer) - but who would be stupid enough to be drinking nasty alcohol in the first place?! eheheh

Many thanks to AJ as well for providing us details on the afterparty etc.. unfortunately I just couldnt stay up another 6 hours after eventually finishing at 6am! As suspected another group of people we were meeting didnt turn up so until I can gaurantee members for guest lists etc I think we will have to leave discounts etc.. for now - but we will get there in the end AJ.

XLR8 was pretty amazing, much better than the last time I went to The Fridge for Logic. The people were great, soooooooooooooooo friendly!!! I couldn't beleev it when a guy gave me pills for FREE and they were awesome!!!

As for those who didn't turn up, its their loss as they missed out on a f**kin wicked night!!!!!!!

Soph - you can give my ticket to that Canadian girl (sorry, forgotten your name already!) or to Ells if the other girl doesnt want it - I dont mind paying entry - I just want to get more people out - so whatever it takes! So far on any one night we have like 4 or 5 attending - this needs to change!!

 

Also, check this.... I'm gonna buy one of these new tiny camcorders and record snippets of us in the clubs (if the venue will let us) and then release/post them on DVD (or VHS) - HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE ??!! Gonna deffo get into proper video editing next.. just need to upgrade my PC substancially!!

 

Those who think this is a silly idea I say this;

a) You film holidays, weddings, birthdays - why not EVERY club night - I personally would love to look back at myself going nutty on the floor when I'm 80!

Gatecrasher etc.. sell videos of their events and people buy them - even if they aren't in the video or only on for a few secs.

 

Hopefully the cam technology these days will be good enough to pick up sound/light - my current cam corder is certainly NOT good enough. Watch this space!!!

 

For now I'm just going to start recording 'sound snippets' of people, like Tara, going 'mental' at the music and giving shouts out to the rest of the members - how cool would that be - link(s) to audio under the thumbnail/image !

James- This thing looks wicked, says its hard house and euphoric trance, all sounds good to me!!!

I may have a few more people up for this but I am not getting my hopes up, at least we can rely on each other 'eh?! We certainly will be having some huge nights out in the future, its nice to find some reliable clubbers!!!
