James i was just wondering that bright blue might be a bit garish, how about a more darker blue. Subtle but nice?

ive always been in two minds about the links

 

should it be...

 

bright as standard and then go darker when hovering ?

 

or should it be dark and then go light when hovering ?

 

if i've been in two minds in terms of - should it be ...

blue

white

red

a completely different colour

 

i used to love seeing it go white when hovering - inline with the white backing to the logo (i like the blue, red and white style).

 

but now i think its 'too' bright going white.

 

also now think it should go slightly darker, not lighter, when hovering ?

look at these two colours. Maybe this blue #003366 on normal and then this red #CC3333 on hover?

 

i've just used them recently and i think look pretty good.

not bad - looks better - will keep these for now i think
