I'm new to this site. I was given a card by @Bunnykins a few weeks ago on the tube, and only now have I finally got round to loading up the website. It really does seem like a fantastic idea!

Now then, any Londoners there who are into their dark nasty technoey housey stuff?

I don't really have many clubbing mates here in London 😞 so very keen to meet some like-minded people! Anyone meeting up this coming weekend? Is there a main "what's on" page?

Hi Andy, and welcome to CTW.

There are plenty of people from London on the board - all liking a wide variety of music, so i'm sure you'll find someone with the same musical tastes as yourself. Techno and house both seem to go down well around here, so don't worry. As for ''what's on'', have a look in either the ''this week'', ''event suggestions'', or ''official CTW meet-ups'' sections, all found on the summary page. The London lads and lasses now seem to have a regular midweek drink too, just as a little sideline to the weekend clubbing, which is always a good place to meet a few of the regulars,

Hard weekend clubbing? Been anywhere good?

 

Regrettably I've had a hard weekend staying in - I've got a crappy cold which I'm hoping to shake off ASAP. Where are you guys off to this coming weekend or is that planning too far ahead?

 

I had a superb night down in Bournemouth last weekend - went to Slinky with a few mates. First time I've been to the Opera House for about three years I think. Superb place; music was spot-on; met some cool people too. Anyone else been there?

Slinky was fantastic. The music was right up my street - the trancier stuff was balanced with plenty of vicious technoey hard stuff if you see where I'm coming from!

 

Someone told me that was the last time they will hold it at the Opera House though. It was an all-nighter but not sure if they always are...?

The only names I remember from the night are "Marco V" and "John 00 Fleming". Not sure if they're the residents. Sorry I'm not much of a DJ spotter, I never really pay much attention to the names!
