had broadband connected this morning and im already having problems.

 

my firewall and virus protection is not allowing it to access my PC, i have to go into both, shut them down and start over again.......but i cant keep them shut down

 

BTW.....whoever said it takes 10 minuits to install was a bloody liar

what anti-virus & firewall you using???

Zone labs firewall

 

moo, i wish i could mate, i have no idea what im doing, its not idiot proof

 

all it says is that broadband cannot conect to my PC, please re-try again and again. as soon as i shut down my firewall and AVG it connects, but my firewall and AVG wont stay shut down so when i turn off/on my pc i have to go through it all again .............if you get my drift

try uninstalling the firewall etc, connect to braodband then re install see what happens...

Software firewalls are a waste of time anyway, make sure windows and virus definitions are up to date and your computer will be safe.

just uninstalled it and then re-installed the ones i got with the broadband (the same ) but seems to have done the trick
