I just wondered who used to go to blackpool when they were kids??

 

i didnt really go abroad...my mum was too ill to fly..

 

But blackpool i used to fucking love it there!!

 

best things about blackpool

 

1) pleasure beach

2) the sherrifs bar in pleasure beach

3) the toy machines

4) the rock factory

5) parrots island amusment arcade

6) the winter gardens (for all the theatre show and mr peabodys childrens play thing)

7) the tower and the circus in the tower

8) the donkeys on the beach

9) the cheap tacky shops

10) stanley park

 

i hope im not the only one that still gets excited about blackpool!!

 

does anyone fancy going this year with me?? relive my youth? i used to go every year...

 

possibly when it's a bit warmer and when pleasure beach is open!

we will go to the hotel i used to go to as a kid..im sure my mum still gets brochures thru...

 

the owners used to love me...got free sweets and free goes on the arcade machine

I went there as a kid and did all those things on that list.

Two years ago I went back there on the piss for the weekend for a laugh and during the day the pleasure beach, parrots island amusment arcade,

the tower and the circus in the tower, stanley park still had the same charm as they did when I was little.

 

Blackpool is somewhere that kids and adults can enjoy alike, Its a place were there is something for everyone!!

how amazing is parrots island...remember when they had the yellow brick road built in it??

 

totally..if i had the choice of disney land or blackpool id choose blackpool..its so much fun!!

Blackpool anytime. I dont remember going on the boats but I do remember the model village they have in there.
