The CDJ-1500X’s new song request feature is either genius or ragebait

In a market increasingly dominated by all-in-one systems and DJ controllers, the arrival of a brand new standalone CDJ is a surprise. Yet that’s exactly what AlphaTheta has delivered with the CDJ-1500X: a more compact, lower-cost player that borrows heavily from the flagship CDJ-3000X while introducing a few ideas of its own.
