  1. Anyone up for this ??? Last one was fookin amazin & this time we got Oz ... the man's a fookin legend !!!!!! Sunday 10th August Kemistry @Club Paradise, New York Street, Leeds, LS1 2pm-10pm £5 Advance Tickets (+BF) | £7 On the Door | £6 NUS / OAPs R.O.A.R Room 1 : Hard House, Hard Trance & NRG Superfast Oz (OD404, Kaktai Records) DJGRH (Sessions, Frantic) Lox (Parlez-Vous?, Housewives Choice) Ade Rippin El Captino Will Graney Room 2 - House, Funk & Old Skool Dan Tait (Speedqueen) Jeff & Russ Sealey James Barnsley Ben Parkinson Mark Allan Chris Denny The fourth Sunday Kemistry and proof is there that the Leeds (and surrounding areas) hardcore following are more than up for whatever Kemistry personnel are prepared to throw at them. Ilogik rolled into newly-hyped venue ‘Paradise’ last month and stole the show, alongside strong performances from the likes of Christiaan, DJGRH, Caroline Banx, El Captino, Will Graney and Ben Stevens. Indeed, much credit must be given to the venue – it has become a hard dance haven for the local following. It is for this reason that Kemistry have (finally) decided to take up route in the club, stay put, and welcome Superfast Oz to the decks for August. Oz is a legend to the hard-heads amongst us. Most noted for being a part of heavy-hitting OD404, he has remixed and produced so many hard dance significant tracks that it would be too hard to list them all here. Think ‘9 Bar’ as an example, then consider their mix of ‘New York, New York’. Of course, Oz is most commonly affiliated with the likes of Kaktai Records – a label that STILL seems to go from strength to strength despite its relatively lengthy history! The connections don’t stop there – any hard dance music lover (of hard house, hard trance, techno, sidney techno, techno, trance, psychedelic trance) will appreciate one of the leading dance music web sites on the net – www.bangingtunes.com is an institution. It is a portal for many hard dance associate around the world with an extensive browsing catalogue and lively forum. Somehow, Oz finds the time to drive to Leeds on a Sunday afternoon for a rare chance to witness one of today’s greats in action! Fresh from announcing his recent move from ‘Base’ to ‘Sessions’ in Leeds, DJGRH is joined by another local favourite – Lox. Tick all the local ‘has played’ boxes (your Parlez Vous’s, Housewives Choice’s, Phat’s of this world) and then some for Lox who’s character, versatility and consistent performances continue to earn his renown praise. Kemistry hard-head residents Ade Rippin, El Captino and Will Graney complete yet another mammoth Sunday afternoon lineup in the main room. Quality a-plenty is very much order of the day in the second room too. Never to be one to let the more relaxed offering down; Chris Denny, Mark Allan, Ben Parkinson, James Barnsley, versatile duo Jeff and Russ Sealey are joined by fast stuff Queen’s Dan Tait. Dan’s work is for Pioneer where he is head tester for a lot of products. This affiliation sees him playing at the likes of Space, Manumission and others in Ibiza this summer, warming up for the likes of Roger Sanchez amongst others. Resident at ‘G-Club’ at the Vibe Bar in London, he also spends a lot of time in the house offerings at Northern hard houser’s Parlez Vous?, HForce and so forth. Dan has played big venues such as the Ministry Of Sound and also produces for Grape Records. Kemistry look to have found the correct formula – and a lot of this has to do with the suitability of the venue. Karim, Paul Maddox, DJGRH, Ian M and many more have graced the decks and it’s inevitable that a combination of well thought out DJ’s (the raw, blistering sound of Superfast Oz, with the sophisticated intelligence of Dan Tait) will once again prove a telling factor in another varied Leeds Sunday afternoon!
