  4. THE GALLERY Friday 7th December Room 1: Hosted by Anjunabeats Above & Beyond (3 Hour Set) Mark Pledger Ollie Smith Smith & Pledger (Exclusive B2B) Nitrious Oxide Gavyn Mytchel James Grant Room 2: Hosted by Urbantorque Neil Quigley Jamie Anderson Leigh Morgan Room 3: Hosted by Anjunadeep Andy Moor Michael Cassette Topfloor: The Roxtons Presents : A night of Funky & electro house The Roxtons Varron_V Joan Banda Tis the season to be jolly and all of that, and so to kick start the festive period we hook up with our old chums over at Anjunabeats for one hell of a Christmas party. This years DJ Mag poll saw Above & Beyond climb once again to No.6 in the world and they’re certainly no strangers to the hallowed rooms of Turnmills, having done their first ever Anjunabeats party on a week night way back when. For this outing on Friday 7th December, we’re bringing the full spectrum of Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label to the floor, with a main room packed full of the hottest talent from this cult trance label and T3 hosting the trio’s increasingly popular Anjunadeep sub-label. Above & Beyond lead proceedings will be a 3 Hour set. Having climbed the Top 100 yet again, this only confirms the wide held belief that they’re one of the leaders in the trance scene having had another great year. We were privileged to have them for our last year NYE bash at Brixton Academy with further sell-out shows at Turnmills in 2007 including their last Anjunabeats party. This year has seen the release of acclaimed mix compilation Anjunabeats Volume 5, as well as tracks including ‘Tri State’, Home’, and ‘Good for Me / World on Fire’. Next up is Smith & Pledger – a name synonymous with tunes like ‘Forever’ and ‘Northern Lights’ – firm favourites with trance fans the world over. Most recently Mark Pledger has found similar success with releases of ‘Ultraviolet’ and ‘On the Edge’, whilst Ollie Smith’s solo releases - ‘Nimbus’ and ‘Tomahawk’ have also found huge support on Anjuna. Not only playing solo sets on the night this will be a rare chance to catch the duo DJ back together again for an exclusive B2B set for one very special night only… well it is Christmas after all! Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel gets all trancey for the big 6am finale, having recently worked hi Mytchel magic on a storming remix for Andy Ling’s ‘Fixation’. And finally, Anjunadeep radio show host and label manager James Grant turns his multi talented hands to the early warm up. Anjuna’s sub label Anjunadeep take over T3 with their proggier take on all things trance and for this special showcase of the ever popular imprint they invite one of the leading exponents of such a sound, Andy Moor. Famed for his consistent producing talent including seminal trancers such as ‘Air for Life’, ‘Halcyon’ and recently ‘Year Zero’ (on his personal imprint Ava Recordings), Andy will let rip alongisde rising new producer Michael Cassette who gets in on the action too, fresh from his debut release ‘Zeppelin/David’… on Anjuna Deep of course!! T2 welcomes Urbantorque bringing with them one of Bedrocks major talents in the shape of Neil Quigley. One of Digweed’s favourites, Neil is a regular fixture on heavy line-ups around the world as well as being the resident for Bedrock’s legendary Thursday night sessions here in London. This is a rare chance to see him headlining this legendary intimate space – and trust us, you won’t be disappointed!! Urbantorque resident Leigh Morgan joins the proceedings together with Jamie Anderson. Turnmills 63B Clerkenwell Road, London. 5. VACCINE @ The Gallery, Turnmills Friday 14th December Room 3: Hosted by Vaccine presents “Best of UK” Barry Connell The Viceroy Neal Scarborough K.A.R.L. Karl G KOTO Room 1: Paul Oakenfold Sister Bliss Gareth Emery Richard Durand Gavyn Mytchel Bruno Lawton Room 2: Hosted by Dirtbox Trophy Twins Alex Collings Tim Cullen Pete Whitehouse Tracy Caldwell Vaccine take over for the last time this year with a “Best of the UK” line-up guaranteed to showcase one or more of the next big things in their home from home, T3. Ending the year with a bang, VACCINE has continued its tradition of bringing the best talent from wherever it may be to London this year and looks set for even bigger and better things into 2008 with the launch of its record label off shoot and radio show on VONYC. Always ones to push boundaries with its lineups, VACCINE uses December as a chance to turn its attention to the shores of its homeland the UK. Picking a lineup of djs and producers who deserve the full attention of clubland as future stars in the making, December will witness another cutting edge, alternative lineup that differs from the majority of others out there. Deck wizard and Goodgreef resident Barry Connell returns having built upon his enormous success including regular sets at the likes of Judgement Sunday and Godskitchen and also warming up for Tiesto in Scotland. Having blown us away on his debut visit with his deck trickery, tune selection and passion to play to an educated and up for it crowd, Barry was a natural choice to bring back and headline our best of UK bill. Discover’s Neal Scarborough makes an overdue London debut. He’s the man behind tracks such as ‘Stung on the River’ and one half of Inertia (them of ‘The Chamber’ fame) and he’s gaining huge recognition including being asked to remix Art of Trance’s classic cut ‘Madagascar’. One to seriously watch we are delighted to be hosting Neal’s long overdue London debut. Vaccine resident The Viceroy joins the throng completing a stellar 2007. Having cemented his reputation among the VACCINE and Gallery faithful, as well as now a main room Gallery residency and various gigs around the UK; The Viceroy has also been busy studio wise with tracks on Monster Tunes, Discover Dark, Flux Delux and more to come in 2008. Other talent tipped for the top on the bill includes one of the names of 2007, K.A.R.L., having appeared at festivals including 070707 alongside Preach, Lawrence, Askew and Bailey as well as main room appearances galore including Gallery, Party Proactive, Frantic and many more. K.A.R.L. is also part of the newly formed Elektrotek label; a true innovator his ever evolving tech infused sound will be shore fire winner at Vaccine. One of the hidden gems of the South West; Karl G returns to VACCINE with his biog and discog bulging at the seams. A favourite for his skillful use of the remix and bootleg and cracking original productions Karl G’s roots lie in the trancer sound and tracks such as Repeat Again and remixes for the likes of Adam White finding favour with everyone from Tiesto to Judge Jules. Relative new comer KOTO has shot to our undivided attention with his mature and educated sound remixing the massive Frontline – ‘Surface to Air’ to great effect and pumping out some killer collaborations and originals including ‘Down to the Wire’ with Frase forthcoming on Deep Blue. Over in the main room its all going off for the return of Paul Oakenfold, fresh from his Perfecto party in October which packed them in!!! Now, it wouldn’t be Christmas without the Gallery residents getting behind the ones and twos and so please step forward Sister Bliss to join the action. A consistent Turnmills crowd pleaser for over a decade, she’s constantly blowing us away with her cutting edge sets.... and with Bliss on board, this really should make it a truly unforgettable night to remember!! Meanwhile, Gareth Emery continues his assault on the trance scene having again charted highly in the new DJ Mag poll (he was invited to play at the awards ceremony too, the jammy git!!) Gareth also continues to set the pace in podcasting, whilst his 5am imprint continues to release a bevy of heavily supported records. He’s also pushing new boundaries with a series of new sub labels and the man known to many, as simply GTR, is truly coming of age. We’re delighted to have him back at The Gallery. Next up is Richard Durand, who was picked by Vaccine to play back in April and has since exploded on the global scene, following a spate of remixes including his reworking of Tiesto’s ‘Lethal Industry’ as well as producing a series of hot original records. Tough, techy and full of re-edits and exclusives his sets are becoming a ‘must hear event’ - so don’t miss out!! This recognition was further recognised as Richard went straight into the Top 100 this year and we welcome him back for another main room appearance. Early doors action comes from Bruno Lawton, one of the original Gallery DJ competition winners and the 6am finale comes from Gallery super resident Gavyn Mytchel – who knows a thing or two about doing it first thing in the morning!!! T2 sees the last outing of the year for Dirtbox welcoming not only the usual array of ever popular residents in the form of Alex Collings, Tim Cullen, Pete Whitehouse and Tracy Caldwell, but also a headline appearance from the Trophy Twins. The boys who shot to notoriety with their funky backroom sets and their much revered Residency show on Radio 1 are getting all festive with us for our big Xmas bash. Regular collaborators in the studio with the likes of Chris Lake and Funkagenda this year saw the release of ‘I Get Around’ and ‘Starz in their Eyes’, so expect a smattering of new studio beauties to get a good airing for this festive Dirtbox. For £12 advanced, no queuing concession guestlist please email your names to info@vaccine-turnmills.co.uk

  8. Room 1: X-Press 2 (3 Hour Set) Sister Bliss Steve Porter Frase Riven Room 2: Hosted by Dirtbox Outmode (Live Set) Alex Collings Jamie Wadman & Tim Priestley Pete Whitehouse Room 3: Hosted by Vaccine John OO Fleming Rafael Frost (UK Debut) The Viceroy Simon Pitt Lee Dearn Mark Landragin This Friday 9th November, The Gallery is very proud to present the 3 men that collectively parade as X Press 2. Ashley Beedle, Diesel & Rocky have risen to prominence as cutting edge producers, crossing over with collaborations with the likes of David Byrne from Talking Heads whilst also producing seminal albums that include Muzikizum and Makeshift Feelgood including such massive singles as Lazy, ACDC, Smoke Machine and Muzik Express to name but a few. These gentlemen have not only set new standards in the studio but broken the mould with DJing. All appearing behind a plethora of CDJ’s and Mixers, the legendary 3 person, 6 decks, 3 mixer X Press 2 sets have become something of a hugely anticipated treat for clubland who know a good thing when they hear it. Turnmills watch out, X Press 2 will be making a special guest appearance for 3, yes count ‘em, 3 Hours this week! As if it couldn’t get any better we have only gone and invited Gallery favourite and First Lady of Faithless, the ever welcome Sister Bliss. There is little more that can be written and said about her, a true DJ’s DJ and a music purist she will set the tone for the evenings proceedings in her enviable and energetic style for sure. Steve Porter is another highly revered DJ/producer who continually sets the pace others try and follow. A believer in forging his own style, his Porterhouse genre has seen him mix two compilations under the same name and over the last six years, Steve has amassed a portfolio of over 70 singles and 28 remixes under his name and the many aliases. His myriad of tracks have been finding there way into the record boxes of all the big guns - Sasha, Lee Burridge, Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Farina and Paul van Dyk. Riven gets the warm up set early doors and as usual is guaranteed to rise to the occasion whist rising producer, Frase is handed another end of night musical extravaganza to conduct. Over in T2 Dirtbox welcome another leading name to headline in the form of Outmode. To coincide with their forthcoming album, Outmode are quickly developing a live show which will be on full display for the Dirtbox faithful and the debut single 'True' has become Radio 1s One For One music’s unsigned competition winner and has already gained support from DJ heavyweights such as Groove Armada, Pete Tong, Nic Fanciulli, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo to name but a few. Recently invited onto the Trophy Twins Radio 1 show they will be bringing their talent to T2 and we suggest that based on the evidence its an open and shut case of attendance being required! Backing him up will be Dirtbox’s lovable resident DJs Alex Collings and Pete Whitehouse, with Jamie Wadman and Tim Priestley getting their chance to show The Gallery how to ‘ave it right off!’ Meanwhile, Vaccine return in T3 to showcase emerging trance talent as it has on a regular and successful basis for quite some time now and this month hands over the headline position to a man who has far outgrown the title of an emerging talent. John OO Fleming is quite simply one of trances biggest DJs, a true legend of the scene and a purveyor of some of the best, most underground music out there he is a natural choice to headline one of the few parties per year where Vaccine looks UK wide. 9. Room 3: Hosted by Vaccine pres Lange Album Launch Party Lange Pulser The Viceroy Ben Beaton Ruth Cooper Room 1:Perfecto Tour Paul Oakenfold *Very Special Guest TBA* Tall Paul Sister Bliss Gavyn Mytchel Dave Horne Room 2: Hosted by Dirtbox Luke Dzierzek Clive Morley Alex Collings Pete Whitehouse Vaccine present Lange’s album launch party for our October extravaganza . Some 10 years in the coming Lange has been one of trances most prolific producers and has finally completed what is widely tipped to be one of the best received albums of the year. Joining Lange and his very special extended set will be rising producer star and collaborator on the album Pulser and Vaccine residents The Viceroy and Ben Beaton whilst Lange’s tipped future talent Ruth Cooper gets in on the early door warm up action. Approaching ten years in the production and DJing business, it is safe to say Lange knows his way around the studio and has developed a natural connection with the dancefloor. Many know him best as the genius responsible for some of the most timeless classics of the ‘golden age’ of trance around the turn of the millennium. However, you don’t survive for a decade in this game without adapting, and Lange has done exactly that in recent years, forging a new style for himself and adding a razor-sharp cutting edge to his sound. The album is called ‘BETTER LATE THAN NEVER’ and will be a Double Album featuring One CD of new material and a 2nd Disc full of Classic Lange releases and remixes; such as ‘Drifting Away’, ‘Happiness Happening’, and ‘Another You, Another Me’. Taking influence from many genres but with ‘Trance’ firmly at it’s heart, the Album draws on Lange’s desire and ability to innovate. The long-awaited album will be both an indication of where he is now and a reflection of his past achievements, defining yet another chapter in his extraordinary career. The Format will be a download release from 5th November 2007 followed by a 2xCD release in January 2008. Over in the main room Perfecto returns, the label responsible for some of dance music’s biggest tracks over the years including everything from Bullet in the Gun right through to PPK – Resurrection is being relaunched by its main man the legendary Paul Oakenfold. Responsible for pioneering some of the biggest tracks and producers from the likes of BT, Tilt, Grace and even a young Carl Cox it also released critically acclaimed mix cds profiling artists as diverse as Timo Maas, Arthur Baker and even Paul live from the Great Wall of China!! Joining the main man and a very special guest of Paul’s choosing will be two of The Gallery’s very special resident supremos. Tall Paul is the pure embodiment of The Gallery and is one of those residents club owners dream of, constantly playing some of the best sets of the night with a unique command of that main room sound system that only the longest serving dj would be able to. Sister Bliss, she of Faithless fame no less has been a consistent Turnmills crowd pleaser for many years constantly proving the cynics wrong with her up for it persona behind the decks and cutting edge main room Gallery beats. A true Gallery resident she joins the merry throng to make it truly a night to remember along with Gayvn Mytchel and warm up merchant Dave Horne. Dirtbox return in T2 with not one but two headliners, Luke Dzierzek has been causing some serious damage for a while as a producer and dj to watch out for. However we predict some even bigger things on the horizon for this young star, the next Citroen advert is destined to be carrying one of his dance floor destroyers and we all know where that can lead to just ask Mr Lu Cont or Mr Guetta! Clive Morley also swings by to add his support to the lineup along with residents Alex Collings and Pete Whitehouse For advanced concession guestlist please email your names to info@vaccine-turnmills.co.uk

  11. THE GALLERY Friday 27th July Room 1: Judge Jules Blank and Jones John Askew Gavyn Mytchel Bryan Kearney Bruno Lawton Room 2: Hosted by Joy Mark Wilkinson Euan MacNeil (The Beginerz) Steve Lee Room 3: Ctrl Z vs Screwface Tweak&Bleep Si Mclean (Futurefunk) Craig H (Point Red Records) The end of July is already upon us but as hot as the weather may be, we’re turning it up - the action that is, not the heat on Friday 27th July over at Gallery HQ. In fact, in the air conditioned luxury of Turnmills, we’re handing the end of month accolade over to none other than Mr Judge Jules. Still a pivotal figure in dance music whilst so many have come and gone, no one can deny his thirst for new material, new artists and a commitment to rocking it right royally or as he would say like a geologists convention!! With his Ibiza night Judgement Sunday enjoying yet another record breaking year, a new compilation and a gig diary rammed to the rafters, it’s easy to see why the Radio 1 star is still as popular as ever!! Blank and Jones have done it all from produce the biggest (and still heavily battered) trance anthems to extensive touring of the world. Fresh from another album and its supporting world tour, they touch down in the UK for a rare gig. With a huge fan base, trance fans wax lyrical about this duo’s sets and productions. The Gallery has been a proud supporter for many years and in similar fashion to the years we have been supporting the likes of Christopher Lawrence who’s ascension to the top of the pile has seen every other club night jump the bandwagon… may we tell you from Gallery HQ that Blank and Jones are another, we told you so! John Askew is starting to enjoy the success he deserves. First though is to congratulate him on his new found responsibility as a father!! However he has a night off to come and showcase the now world renowned Discover sound that has made him critically acclaimed from the very top including Paul van Dyk. John has a new single in the shape of the massive ‘Chime’ and a new ‘Live As’ mix album, watch out for those!! Bryan Kearney one of John’s young stars from the Discover Camp touches down for his main room debut at the all important hour of 6 am. A real stand out Irish man and not just through his productions (regularly hammered by the biggest and best including forthcoming inclusions on Eddie Halliwell’s Cream Compilation ) but as one of Irelands most loved residents at Dublin’s The Vaults. He is also featuring at this years huge Planet Love Festival as well as notable appearances at the likes of Goodgreef already. Joining him will be his partner in crime Gavyn Mytchel. The Gallery’s resident supremo has been breaking the Air Miles computer system with his pursuits over the last month, including the midweek knees up that is The Gallery Legends party at Kanya Bar in Ibiza! Warming it up nicely is an old Gallery favourite Bruno Lawton, one of the original winners of The Gallery DJ competition. For all those entering this year, come check out how to win it from one of the originals. The Ibiza vibe carries on in T2 with our own slice of sunshine - the legendary Steve Lee, who brings us his monthly night of house music heaven, Joy. Pulling out all the biggest and best house tunes, he is joined by Mark Wilkinson and The Beginerz’ Euan MacNeil. Mark and his Kidology label have been enjoying continued success as well as his regular slot on Ministry of Sound Radio, whilst Euan continues to produce some of our favourite house tracks around. Finally in T3, look out for the return of Tweak&Bleep. Fresh from DJ sets around the country, the guys bring their revered promotion back to the ‘live room’. Anyone who saw the first ever outing and their full live visual show (involving the whole room being drapped as a visual) with 7 projectors will testify its an experience not to be missed. Not just flashing lights though, the critically acclaimed night has already showcased the likes of Hyper and Devils Gun so expect the unexpected this time as Craig H and Si McLean will be joined by an as yet unannounced Special Guest. Mmmm, I wonder who it can be…?
  12. Friday 8th June 2007 The Gallery's critically acclaimed trance residency VACCINE welcomes yet another world class and cutting edge line-up to its proceedings on Friday June 8th. In true VACCINE style the line-up spans the entirety of the trance scene taking in UK debuts, European talent, home-grown producers and world-class residents. Fresh from their epic first birthday in February and collaborations with Black Hole Recordings and Discover (Recoverworld) as well as UK debuts for the likes of Bart Claessen and Richard Durand in April, VACCINE continues to set the pace with new trance talent and cutting edge line-ups that others follow. With this ethos firmly in mind VACCINE is proud to welcome back one of its few repeat bookings in the shape of JON O BIR. Jon rocked the VACCINE floor way back when in its early days of its residency at The Gallery and since then has gone on to tour the world extensively as well as cement his reputation as a producer to be seriously sought after with a string of hit productions and remixes, including his remix of 'Jose Amnesia feat. Jennifer Rene - Louder'. Jon is a consistent crowd pleaser and one of a handful of djs from the UK that VACCINE supports extensively; with gigs in the next few months from America to Belgium to Slovakia to Scotland, it is clear we are not the only ones who recognize the talent that is Mr O Bir. The second of June's headliners is for those who know their history of trance - a real member of the elite, TON TB. With a brand new album out entitled 'Dream by Daylight', Ton is not a dj or producer to be consigned to the history books and we are pleased to welcome his album launch party forthcoming on Black Hole Recordings. A regular across the globe he has played most major outdoor events such as DanceValley, Impulz Outdoor and Mysteryland and has rocked established clubs such as Club Space Miami, Haoman 17 Jerusalem, Hotel Arena Amsterdam, Trance Club Heaven in Los Angeles and Privilege in Ibiza. Ton is probably best known for his work under Three Drives, being responsible for the massive club hits Greece 2000, Sunset On Ibiza, Carrera 2 and Air Traffic but has also seen massive solo success with tracks such as 'Dream Machine' and 'Electronic Malfunction'. Joining Ton TB will be another UK debut for VACCINE in the shape of OLIVER PRIME. Producer of seminal underground dark anthems such as 'I was Bee' and 'Radiance' he has also put in remixes for the classic 'LSG - Netherworld' as well as djing all around the globe including Slovenia, Germany, and is making his UK debut for VACCINE. One of a group of producer /djs that always produce the goods, Oliver's dark and twisted sound is intelligent and cutting edge. His productions form the backbone of many a headline djs set and it is with huge pleasure and honour that we welcome him to the hallowed Turnmills decks. RUBEN DE RONDE is another veteran of VACCINE making his debut in the now hazy days of our Thursday night shindigs. Since then Ruben has gone on to label manage his own label - 'Statement' as well as work extensively for the likes of Mondo and now Armada and Armin van Buuren. Whilst appearing at nights such as the FF Dance Parade and Nighttown in his native Holland, Ruben was recently tipped by DJ Mag as one to watch! THE VICEROY caps another sensational month by joining the fray for one of his fast becoming legendary final sets in the VACCINE room. What a six months it has been for our local lad done good. His debut release 'End Game' has been picked up by a host of massive names including Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Sander van Doorn and Markus Schulz to name but a few. His remix of 'Frontline' has also received similar support from the likes of Tiesto and Armin and has seen critical acclaim across the dance press including Mixmag who singled him out for special praise. We all knew it here at VACCINE but it is good to see the lad getting the praise he deserves! Watch out for a set stuffed full of new material and the upfront tunage we have grown to love him for. Warming up for VACCINE is rising star RUTH COOPER. Gaining notoriety for her progressive take on things, she has already graced the ones and twos at Welsh night Journey, played at the Armada pre party in Ibiza and warmed up for one of VACCINE's favourites - Lange, in Scotland. One of the best progressive djs we have heard in a long time, expect an education in all things deep and proggy as Ruth builds the room towards its destination! 13. VACCINE and Galaxy FM Nu Breed @The Gallery, Turnmills Friday 11th May T3 - Vaccine and Galaxy FM Nu Breed Riley and Durrant (Galaxy FM Nu Breed) Marc van Linden (My Way Album Launch) Sophie Sugar Barry Connell The Viceroy Ben Beaton Mike Harris T1 - Gallery 12th Birthday Armin van Buuren Remy Gavyn Mytchel Niklas Harding Chris Linnell T2 - Dirtbox Audio Jack Alex Collings Pete Whitehouse The Gallery's critically acclaimed trance residency VACCINEwelcomes yet another world class collaboration in the shape of Galaxy FM's Nu Breed for a very special night on Friday May 11th. In true VACCINE and Nu Breed style the lineup spans the entirety of the trance scene taking in London debuts, European talent, home-grown producers and world-class residents. Fresh from their epic first birthday in February and collaborations with Black Hole Recordings and Discover (Recoverworld) as well as UK debuts for the likes of Bart Claessen and Richard Durand in April, VACCINE continues to set the pace others follow in new trance talent and cutting edge lineups. With this ethos in mind the opportunity to work with not only with Riley and Durrant but also Galaxy FM and its commitment to supporting new talent, especially through its Nu Breed show broadcast weekly on Thursday nights from 11pm, could not be missed. Nick Riley and Andi Durrant are well known to clubbers as residents for super club Gatecrasher in its spiritual Sheffield home. A full DJ diary sees them playing across the world from Russia, Asia, Europe and the USA. They regularly rock clubs like Cream, Godskitchen, Slinky, Passion, Goodgreef, Judgement Sunday and Gatecrasher and their diverse musical style means you'll see them playing alongside Tiesto, Van Dyk and Sasha as often as Morillo, Prydz and Tong. They've played 20,000 strong arena sets from Manchester to Siberia and St Petersburg, and rocked festivals including Creamfields, HiFi and Fort Dance. In 2004 Riley and Durrant launched the Nu Breed radio show on Galaxy FM to showcase the underground, unsigned and unheard of electronic music. Since its launch the show has helped launch the careers of some of Britain's most exciting new talent. Alongside Andi\'s other 2 programs (Galaxy's flagship Saturday "Warm-up" show and the Big Night In), and their worldwide syndicated Nu Breed Global program, Riley & Durrant reach more than half a million people a week. Last year Andi and Nick took the decision to strip their sound back to basics and as a result they spent the whole of 2006 locked in the studio writing their debut artist album "Research & Development". Teaming up with a range of talented singers, writers, musicians and engineers from musical genres as varied as folk, indie, rock, house, minimal, trance and electro the album hits the stores at the end of July on Newstate Records "Research & Development" will be out at the end of July and the indie /electronic monster "Hollow" with the uber-talented Gina Dootson will be the first single, hitting the shops at the end of June. Joining Riley and Durrant in the VACCINE room will be German superstar in the making, Marc van Linden. Marc is a firm favourite with trance fans everywhere and his new album 'My Way' has done more to add weight to the considerable support shown by world number one dj, Paul van Dyk who believes that he "is one of the hottest talents around at the moment". Label boss of his hugely successful Midway Records imprint and regular guest at the worlds leading clubbing establishments including a hugely popular set for VACCINE last September as well as appearances at the likes of Gatecrasher, Ministry Of Sound, Goodgreef, Love-parade in Berlin, Womb in Tokyo and Eden in Ibiza to name but a few, we are honoured to welcome back Marc for another education. Joining Mr van Linden on the VACCINE Technics and CDJ's will be one of the hottest young trance producers and djs around, Sophie Sugar. Fresh from shooting to our undivided attention with killer tracks such as 'Call of Tomorrow' and 'Isis', Sophie has started 2007 with a bang including being tipped as one to watch by Mixmag as well as seeing Armin van Buuren personally snap up not one but three of her original productions for release on his Armada imprint including the already huge 'Fallen Too Far'. Goodgreef's newest talent Barry Connell joins the fray, originally meant to guest for VACCINE last November. Through no fault of his own Barry eventually gets round to showing the VACCINE faithful his unique blend of tech, trance and deck trickery which has blown away everyone from VACCINE resident The Viceroy at last years Love Leeds Festival to Judge Jules. Now a regular at leading clubbing emporiums from Godskitchen to Inside Out to Judgement Sunday in Ibiza, Barry jets in from his native Scotland and we suggest you catch this superstar in the making whilst you still can. VACCINE residents The Viceroy and Ben Beaton have forged huge followings amongst the VACCINE faithful with their much anticipated monthly sets and tireless pursuit of new talent. This month will be no different with both residents returning to the VACCINE cockpit to guide the good ship into harbour. Already tipped by Riley and Durrant and the Nu Breed Show following his appearance on the show late last year, 21 year old The Viceroy has just seen his 'End Game' track on Flux Delux pick up support from the cream of the crop including Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Sander van Doorn, Markus Schulz and John OO Flemming to name but a few, look out for it's release very soon. Warming up for VACCINE is rising star Mike Harris who has been steadily climbing through the ranks with his well crafted sets and tireless enthusiasm. Not only will he be leading the audio assault by setting the tone of the night, he will also be celebrating his first record produced with rising star Acute being snapped up by leading trance label NOYS by Mike Koglin. A true lineup of Nu Breed in every sense of the word and meaning VACCINE looks forward to welcoming another world class, cutting edge lineup of djs to its home, showcased to the very best and most open minded clubbers around. For concession, no queuing guestlist please email info@vaccine-turnmills.co.uk www.vaccine-turnmills.co.uk www.myspace.com/vaccineturnmills
  14. Friday 13th April sees VACCINE return to its traditional T3 home at The Gallery after three months of massive 1st Birthday events and label colloborations with Black Hole and Discover. But fear not as VACCINE once again pulls out all the stops in its pursuit of new talent, the best music and the most upfront party in town On Friday 13th April VACCINE welcomes not one but TWO UK debuts!!!! First up is a dutch producer who has been turning heads recently with a string of clever tunes and cutting edge remixes leading to Tiesto personally asking for him to remix his dance floor desytroyer Lethal Industry. With a string of hugely successful tunes such as Inside my Brain, Make Me Scream and Slipping Away already behind him, it is no wonder that RICHARD DURAND is being tipped for the very top from all quarters of the trance scene and we are proud to unveil this UK debut before anyone else. Joining him will be a fellow country man whos been steadily making a name for himself with his tech trance sound which has found favour across the board with leading trance labels such as Anjunabeats, Positiva and remixing for the likes of Ferry Corsten, Chocolate Puma, Public Domain and Reflekt. Original tracks have included the massive Playmo and When Morning Comes and under his Barthezz guise the hugely popular On the Move and Infected. BART CLAESSEN has been a firm favourite in VACCINE residents record boxes for ages and having recently signed to none other than Ferry Corsten's management 2007 looks set to be the year Bart joins his rightful place at the premier league table of trance djs and producers, you heard and saw him here first. Joining the fray are none other than the VACCINE residents The Viceroy, who has just enjoyed another track being signed by a leading label, this time his Affirmative Action track being snapped up by Discover Dark, hot on the heels of his End Game track being featured on the latest Live As mix compilation. Ben Beaton also gets back in on the action after tearing the roof off the VACCINE room at both the 1st Birthday and the last Discover night, a true VACCINE resident through and through expect the very best from him. Local rising stars Andy Dunford whos intelligent take on progressive trance caught VACCINE's ears last year makes his VACCINE debut whilst the last set is reserved for a steadily building name in the shape of Rick Deacon who has been putting his own spin on the tech trance sound with an unique sound that will sit well as an end of night set, both are regulars at some of the capitals other trance nights and once again show VACCINE's ongoing commitment to new talent from London and beyond. As London’s premier live music venue, The Academy has a long tradition for showcasing the biggest bands on the planet. Running parallel to that success over the past 5 years has been HEATNYE – the only club promoters in the capital capable of pulling off a sell-out show for 4,500 PEOPLE at one of the world’s most prestigious venues. Split over 4 ARENAS and featuring up to 30 DJS, HEATNYE offers you everything you could ever wish for from a New Year’s Eve party, but without that let down feeling come kick out time. The MIDNIGHT COUNTDOWN (featuring a mind-blowing pyrotechnic display) is worth the entrance fee alone and that’s without mentioning any of this year’s headline guests. Ok, so here goes… At the top of the stack is ABOVE & BEYOND - undoubtedly the world’s most exciting new trance DJ/Producers of the past 5 years and the UK’s answer to the Dutch big guns like Armin, Ferry and Tiesto. Their genre-defining productions (mostly released on their own ANJUNABEATS label) have become an essential tool for the globe's leading DJs and in the process have set the benchmark for the new generation of dance music producers. This incredible threesome have just smashed their way into the NO.9 spot at this year’s DJ MAG’S TOP 100 POLL and they’re still on the trajectory, so who knows how far they can go… In 2004, they scooped Radio 1’s ‘ESSENTIAL MIX OF THE YEAR’ and since then have enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top, culminating in six nominations at last year's International Dance Music Awards in Miami. Earlier this year Above & Beyond released their debut artist album, ‘TRI-STATE’, to critical acclaim and having made a number of exclusive London appearances at The Gallery here in London town, the boys up the ante with this extra special NYE slot. Joining them will be The Gallery’s superstar resident, the one and only TALL PAUL. After another hectic year of touring and production, the big fella remains at the very top of his game and having missed out on playing at last year’s event (having blown the roof off the Academy in 2004), he can’t wait to be back. Neither can we. Fellow Gallery resident and host of The Gallery Radio Show (MOS Radio) GAVYN MYTCHEL also figures, as do dance music heavyweights ROB TISSERA (Kissdafunk) and the much-loved Dutchman, M.I.K.E – who’ll be dropping an exclusive PUSH CLASSICS SET featuring every single one of his global smash hit tunes including ‘UNIVERSAL NATION’, ‘STRANGE WORLD’ and ‘THE LEGACY’. HEATUK also welcome their own beloved residents to the mix, with IAN BETTS at the controls for the all important Midnight rush and MARC FRENCH firing up the floor later on, plus support comes from rising star AARON BASKERVILLE. Elsewhere in the Academy, more mischief can be found with the 3 other rooms blasting out the good time NYE beats. First up is the FOYER; hosted by one of the London’s hottest new promoters of 2006 – PARTY PROACTIVE. Housed every quarter at Turnmills, Party Proactive have broken through the ranks, combining an unparalleled atmosphere with hugely credible line-ups across the hard dance, electro, breaks and house scenes. For this NYE collaboration Party Proactive have gone for the jugular with techno pioneer CHRISTIAN SMITH (Smith & Sellway) jetting in to join the hard-edged loving NICK SENTIENCE, PETE WARDMAN and old skool fave TREVOR ROCKCLIFFE. Party Proactive regulars THE *TING*, JACOB MOSS and STEELO also get fully involved. The BALCONY BAR will this year be hosted by house merchants AFFINITY & STEREOLOJIK, with the jackin’, tribal sounds of NEVER ENOUGH & FUNDAMENTAL entertaining the VIP BAR. HEATNYE is of course brought to you by the people behind London’s most successful summer dance weekender – SOUTH WEST FOUR and GET LOADED IN THE PARK, as part of the METRO WEEKENDER. This August Bank Holiday witnessed a sell-out crowd of 40,000 arriving on CLAPHAM COMMON for the 3rd year in a row, with a further 20,000 people attending the first ever METRO WEEKENDER IN CARDIFF which also sold out in record time. In addition, HEATUK host some of the craziest parties in town – including their recent 5th Birthday bonanza at Koko, whilst THE GALLERY continue to bring London the finest house/trance/techno DJs every Friday night at TURNMILLS. Voted ‘BEST LONDON CLUB’ for the past 2 years, The Gallery remains the only night down south where you’ll catch the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold and Armin Van Buuren in action and with their 12th Birthday on the horizon the club remains as youthful and influential as its always been.
