PHARMACY VOL. 4 MIXED BY HELLRAISER & YOJI BIOMEHANIKA Released on MASIF – Distributed via Amato – 13 November 2006 After three genre-defining CDs Pharmacy is back with the nastiest tasting serving to date. Pharmacy’s pretty little hate machine Hellraiser teams up with the samurai warrior Yoji Biomehanika for 2 discs of terror charged techno, dirty hardstyle, hard trance and all manner of perverted beats. The Pharmacy freak show has spread quickly from its Melbourne base as the residents push their sound boundaries alongside huge international names such as Marco V, DJ Scot Project, Yoji Biomehanika, Cosmic Gate, Chris Liebing, Lab4, Proteus, Ben Sims and the entire Tracid Traxxx family to name but a few. Hard, filthy music is what Pharmacy is all about – from Acid Techno to Tech Trance to Hard Trance and Acid Trance. International superstars A*S*Y*S and Derb have even paid homage to the Australian dynasty with their 12†release ‘Theme From Pharmacy’. A favourite with the Melbourne crew for his weird outfits and twisted visuals during his set, Anthony Mahon aka Hellraiser began his DJ career in \'94 as an angry young sixteen year old at the famed Thunderdome. Now he headlines the parties of the uber-successful Pharmacy brand in Melbourne. Not only has he supported and toured with everybody that\'s anybody in the world of hard music, but he has also played back-to-back battle sets with international stars such as the Organ Donors, Kai Tracid, Derb, A*S*Y*S and Nick Lunn of Technopunk fame. Undergoing something of a musical metamorphosis of late, slowly shifting away from the headache inducing hardstyle sound he used to play, the pretty little hate machine prefers to crank out more melodic sets full of fat basslines, dark and twisted melodies and acid undertones. Don’t worry though – it’s still hard as hell! He seamlessly combines the aggressive aesthetics of alternative rock with the power of acid and the pure melodic beauty of trance and is as unpredictable as he is talented. Yoji Biomehanika remains one of the most popular and in-demand hard dance DJs the world over, and has achieved cult status in his home country of Japan as one of their biggest musical exports of all time. He never fails to impressive with his eclectic selection of tough, brutal beats which expertly combine soaring melodies with hard, pumping grooves. On Pharmacy 4 he serves up a delectable selection of phat electrotech, driving tech trance, and searing hard trance like only he knows how. This mix will appeal to fans of trance, techno and hard dance alike and further demonstrates that Yoji is no one trick pony. Sure, his stunning image and behaviour behind the decks is certainly something to behold – but at the end of the day it’s his music that makes him the legend that he is today. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, clubbers extraordinaire – welcome on board Twisted Airlines Flight 0710 for the maiden voyage of the sensational Airport clubbing concept. Tonight’s Airport destination is The Fridge in London, our scheduled time of arrival is 10pm. Your captains on this flight of musical fancy are international clubbing legends Yoji Biomehanika and Scot Project, who will be lifting you off the ground with a dazzling mix of hard dance, European trance, techno trance and hard house. Your Head Steward for tonight will be Trevor McLachlan, ably assisted by guest cabin crew Latex Zebra. Both are on hand throughout the flight to warm you up with a stunning selection of the hardest most euphoric tunes as our flight rises higher into the atmosphere. Should you require refreshment of a different nature, please feel free to unbuckle your seatbelts and visit the IceBox, where host Chemical Reaction will be serving up a filthy session of underground UK hard dance. Emergency exits are to the front and rear of the plane but we guarantee you won’t want to use them until our flight lands at 6am. Should you wish to show your appreciation at any time during the flight simply blow on the whistle attached the lifejacket under your seat and wave your hands in the air. In the event of your breath being taken away, you will find your oxygen masks in the compartments overhead. Please don’t worry as this is a common occurrence at Twisted events. Please do not remove the masks from the plane for later use as club wear. Advance boarding passes are available but can also be purchased at the passenger gate on the night. We thank you for travelling with Twisted Airlines and we hope you enjoy your flight.
