I've bought stuff off the Net and it really depends on the post and what service you selected.

Amazon are usually lightning quick. It can take longer if the item is not in stock, or if you buy from Amazon Marketplace [private vendors selling through Amazon]. But it is made very clear to you if either of these are the case.

I've bought LOADS of things off the net...mostly DVD's from PLAY.COM and my monthly shopping from TESCO.COM. This morning I had 2 t-shirts delivered that I ordered about 3 weeks ago.

 

I'm wearing this one now...
