although this tune has been out a while, what everyones thoughts on it. Personally i love it as it's a really nice blend of really hard techno (just like my gran used to make it).

 

Not keen on the track being dropped in hard house sets though, that's just shite!

 

Also is DK french???

it's not a HH track, it's a stompingly hard techno track!!

its not really hard techno tho. its more a fast bouncy tune, hence it being more accessable to the hardhouse crowd.

 

great tune, but too bouncy for the avarage techno set. works etter in a hardhouse set or as a DJ tool (as it was originally written for) imo

Not many techno djs would touch it with a barge pole. The only one Ive heard play it is mauro picotto. I think it is more suited to hard dance sets, but that said I would play it.

i would disagree mate. was chattin to a mate that makes techno for a living and he said it was at the extreme end of hard techno. but liam is right most techno dj's wont play it because it's hard bass in it. picotto would as that's his thing, lol.

Admittedly other DK releases are techno, some even tech house. But this is not at the hard end of techno. Put it up aside a Robert Natus track and you will hear the difference.

i know what you mean by that tho, but i really dont think this fits into that catagory... a dj 'tool' would be jst very close to a drum track that does fuck all for ages..

 

this track has defined sections to it... its no dj tool.

 

ive made up a new genre for this type of tune...lol

1.. its not really hard now is it?

 

2..agreed i think it fits better in Tiesto type sets at big events like global. (Tiesto was the first person i heard playing this (may last year.. took me fookin ages to find out what it was)
