of the opposite sex, would how much you liked them depend on whether or not they liked you?

 

if you liked them, and they were indifferent to you, and as you knew them they liked you more and more, would that affect how strongly you felt towards them?

 

if you met someone and instantly they seemed to really like you, would that mean that instantly you would like them more than if they hadn't liked you?
