Everyone knows the clubbing scene is a competition for guys to show off their gangster reputations or how 'hard' they are. Everyone wants to look cool and dead hard in front of the girls.

not too sure what clubs you frequent hon, but the one's most of us go to are not like gangster hang outs

Alot of the old style doormen are now not getting the new licenced badge from the sia,if you have any charges againest you ie abh or gbh then you are not going to pass the checks.

 

The company that i work for will not take you on to even put you thro the licence if you have been charged,what pubs and clubs now want are door staff that can talk to people and get them out that way instead of having to come charging in and throw you out showing off muscle.At the end of the day by doing that you show that the pissed up idots that you are there to watch have won,and its funnier to watch them totally dumfounded when you walk up take them to the side and just lead them out.

 

If you do have any probs with anydoor staff from now on ask for their badge number and see if they are licenced to work.

Most of the clubs I go to I get on well with the door staff and feel at ease with them, tho there is nothing worse than goin to a club with stroppy door staff who seem to be on a power trip

 

It varys so much from club to club as to wot they will allow u in with, and it always seems to me where u cant take sweets, chewing gum, aerosols, painkillers etc the pettier and stroppier the bouncer.. I mean they seem to get off on empty-ing out ya bag in front of everyone for the joy of confiscatin some wrigleys

IVE NEVER REALLY HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH BOUNCERS I TEND TO FIND IF YOU NICE TOTHEM AND CHATTY THEN THEYRE FINE WITH YOU!

 

THING WITH A LOT OF TOWNIE TYPE BARS N PUBS IS BCOS THEY GET LOADS OF TROUBLE THEY DO TEND TO HAVE MOODY POWERTRIP DOORSTAFF U CANT HAVE SUM LITTLE THING WHO WLDNT STOP A DRAFT IN SOMEWHERE LIKE PREMONITION COS WHEN IT ALL KICKS OFF UD B BOLLOXED
