yeah bulldog is starting an 8mb service, but it's only available in london AFAIK

 

so far in 2 hours i appear to have downloaded half a gigabyte.

Yup, you're right Phil - it is only available in London ATM... Bulldog have had some major issues in the past 3 months, but they did win a major best ISP of 2004 award...

 

I've got 4Mbit d/l 384Kbit u/l... It's cable too, so a better tech than ADSL...

I've got 1.5mb at the "bargain" rate of £34.99 a month from "brilliant" old NTL.

NTL are doing 3MB for £30. Still, doesn't beat this Bull Dog. I will be having that in the near future when I eventualy get a P4

Mine costs 50 squid a month... But when I tried lowering the service before (when it was 2Mbit - I took it down to 1Mbit), I got seriously pissed off with how slow it was... So if I lowered it now from 4Mbit, the next package down is 2Mbit - so I'd be well and truly annoyed...

i'm getting 1.1Mb downstream and 256 upstream actual. well impressed as I'm 4.2 miles from my exchange and i didn't fink I'd actually get these sort of speeds.

 

I've had my connection for 7 hours and i've downloaded 1.4 GB. gonna have to keep an eye on dis...
