Ginge is probably best to advise re tents but its the summer and im sure there will be well organised camp sites if someone takes the time to check some out..

Im sure Helen wouldnt mind either but i have no probs with storing your stuff and u can use our room to get ready...whatever.. if it gets more people along im sure everyone will help out somewhere..

Do it...a tent in the Dam is a brilliant idea IMO. I did it last year and it was a right laugh.

kids to sort paying sitter

plus passport aint cheap

plus flights

tickets

taxis/ buses

hotels

spending money

we're looking at like 300quid i could never save that only reason i can do tidy is cos it was paid for goodgreef cometogether weekend and its jus the refund for that

I think in total I spent about £270, including flight and ticket for DV (but £80 of that was for an emergancy hotel room coz we couldnt find a campsite)

YES!!! As I've said above, tents and Dam are the way forward...so much cheaper and theres COMPLETE freedom. I'm defo doing it againthis year.

The campsites there are under full CCTV coverage so theres no worries there. Me and Craig left all our stuff in the tent on the day after DV and spent the whole day with James and Maria, when we got back about 12 hours later everything was still there.

Apart from the red light district, I'd say Dam is a relatively safe place.
