Vaak werd door fans en organisator UDC gesuggereerd dat Dance Valley een ‘weekender’ zou moeten worden maar ieder jaar weer bleek de wens de vader van de gedachte. Vorig jaar nog zette UDC alles op alles om het tienjarig bestaan van Dance Valley Festival extra glans te geven maar de pogingen stranden toen nog op de inzet van een tiental politiemensen. Zojuist is bekend geworden dat op 5,6 en 7 augustus aanstaande in Spaarnwoude de primeur plaatsvindt waar heel dansminnend Nederland al jaren op wacht. Naar nu blijkt zijn alle obstakels voor het enige echte dance-weekend van het jaar uit de weg geruimd: de eerste meerdaagse versie van ‘het Woodstock van de Dance’ is een feit

well either way u have to hire cabins for minimum of 3 nites during that time but i am gona ask my mum or dad to not get me presents but to have shay take it in turns over that weekend so i can go away for my birthday

guys, the Tshirt idea sounds GREAT! that would indeed help u all out identifying eachother. i remember back at T In The Park it would have helped all our mates find each other! lol

that was great last summer! i think your idea of flying over the night before is a good idea too. it WILL help you. we arrived at T In The Park the day before it started so we could find a decent tent space, which we didnt cos the place was still packed with people even at such an early hour lol. but i think all in all ariving the day/night before is a good idea n will help u conserve energy if ya like lol unless u get completely smashed!

Tenting out isnt such a bad idea, as long as all ur pals tents are all around in a circle together that way it kind of gives u ur own privacy like, ur own area to commute in. ours was great. Plus campsite antics are the best! we'd be sittin or standin drinkin whatever, and a LOUD "WWWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY" would sweep over the entire campsite! and also, ppl thot itd be a good idea to belt a football up in the air n see where it landed. we got 3 at a time goin! that was fun! n then u get the stoners in and around which arent very fun, unless ur a stoner of course lol! its the best, so i imagine DV will be quality, plus u wont get them annoying ppl who r just gothed out n hate us ppl and dance music!

haha as it stand s Dom, your pretty much the only one all of us haven't met yet, so you need to work on that one & get yourself hooked up with us or at that edinburgh meet, unfortunately I cant make that one but we best ghet working on sorting a meet up etc soon

Still cant find any new info on DV yet. Keep looking everyday but nothing.

 

Gonna try and reserve my hikers cabin in march. Need to plan a bit better this year.

not looking good for me on this no sitter and had shit lately with fear of losing shay so looks like my life is on hold and he is my priority

 

why cant social services go do there jobs where they should and rescue kids that are bein beaten not cos of lack of furnishing

Hey guys I'm new and heard this was the forum with the most info on Dance Valley 2005. Seems they weren't wrong and this site seems pretty good too!

 

Absolutely cannot wait for it!! Am taking my fiance as a surprise for his 30th birthday. Been looking at accomodation and have decided either to find a cheapish hotel or hostel for the three nights or try one of those hikers cabins.

 

Just wondered though, with the hikers cabin, does anyone know if is it 67 euros a night based on four people sharing? Or could I hire the cabin for just the two of us for that price?

 

Have been advised to try Hotel 83 in Amsterdam if that fails. Or Hotel Fantasia is another one I've advised about. If theres a big group of you getting together, you could get a ten or twelve person dorm in a hostel to share which would be practically peanuts each, think its about 19 euros a night. The Bulldog is a well known hostel which is good for group bookings.

 

I just wish they'd hurry up and put more info on the dance valley site!

 

Think this one is going to be an expensive trip seeing as I'm forking out for both of us! Flying from Bristol on the Thursday so we can have a night out in Amsterdam and then go to DV for Friday and Saturday and fly back Sunday afternoon. Do you think it will be a hassle having to travel to and from Amsterdam for accomodation on the Friday and Saturday night. Also does anyone know what time it goes on till each night?

If its a 3 day event wont there be camping facilities at Dance Valley? If so i'll def be camping there - save all the going to n from amsterdam!
