kids to sort paying sitter

plus passport aint cheap

plus flights

tickets

taxis/ buses

hotels

spending money

 

we're looking at like 300quid i could never save that only reason i can do tidy is cos it was paid for goodgreef cometogether weekend and its jus the refund for that

Maria, i'll check on those now if i can find them quickly..

 

prices ive quoted so far also include online booking fee

 

Tickets for DV are 65 Euros which is about 47-50 quid dependant on exchange rates

I know its tough for those with little money or heavy outgoings..

 

you can limit the cost by travelling out on the sat morning and spending just one night on accomodation. DV finishes just after midnight so you will be back in hotel for 2am.. can check out at midday and get a flight home same day..

 

train ticket works out at 5 quid in total - includes airport to Dam and then Dam to the next train station which connects with free buses which take you to the event..

 

Still looking at 200 quid though all in

 

That said and if you can scrape the cash together, this really is a one-off event and you really have to experience it to believe it. Last years has to be the best event i have ever been to

Oh I know it will be Mark, but im looking at two of us as well as a family hol for four abroad etc gonna be a long shot me thinks!!! sad.gif

id still never afford it and i dont want to jus go for a day the whole plan was have a good birthday not jus clubbin this time but to go away for a weekend and see something different what is the point in going to another counrty for first time ever and travel alone wen ive never flew b4 to jus go to a valley be really tired from travel andf then clubbin to come home

no point i might jus go spain for couple of weeks to my mates

What about The Grasshopper ?  Most people I have asked who have been to the Dam reccommend this or the Bulldog.
