Hybrid 'Wide Angle'

Dug this out when I started revising for exams a few weeks back, and had forgotten what a beatifully produced album it is..... Wouldnt have thought electronic music and the russian federal orchestra would go together, but it works soooooooooo well

Not a bad album at all.

 

I was a big fan of Hybrid back then, and they did loads of great remixes, but some of the tracks sound a bit twee to my ears now. The flowery orchestral parts may sound a little self-indulgent to some.

 

My fave Hybrid track is probably their remix of Inner Sanctum's cover of "How Soon Is Now".

never really got into hybrid, it all sounds a bit polished to me. I like my breaky stuff to be filth. Totally appreciate the production though.
