Maria seems all these years they have been fretting & trying to sort global warming they over looked Global dimming which has been happening due to pollution in the air from planes, chimneys car exhausts etc & it has been cooling the earths atmosphere, but now we are clearing up the pollution issue it has infact made the global warming worse.

 

I will do a search & find info it is very scary.

 

They also reckon the etheopian famine in the 80's was now due to global dimming

yeh especially as the aeffects already from this so drastic

 

I have always said well from the age of being able to understand haha that it is our doing & we will be our own down fall

I don't really know what to comment really as I am not clued up as I would like to be about Global Warming. After a bit of research, I will quite gladly continue ..

well basically clouds are foormed through partiacles or something well certainly the rain is made by particles collected in clouds, but cos of mans pollution obviously there is a great deal more particles than should be so more rain if you like forms in smaller sizes & rain in clouds are like mirrors & reflect now cos there are more partcles in the cloud it is forming more of a mirror effect which when the sun hits the clouds, it is now reflecting back, rather than warming the earth to its full potential the temp is actual below what it should be, so straight away the balance if you like is tipped, now then where we have been spending the last few years trying to stop pollution etc because of the ozone/greenhouse effect, we were not actually aware of the global dimming, so all th while our scientist have been mis callculating the damage as it were & the effect of the dimming has made the warming worse, the discovery came about believe it or not due to 9/11 when planes in the state were grounded & they were able to take atmospheric temp readings & it is drastic

 

So basically the first thought is to prevent this from getting worse is to pollute again, but that'll be def suicide obviously, it is very scary in deed!!!

 

Take Etheopia for instance, its arid land etc is mapped out year in year out, every year at a certain point it has a monsoon which nourishes the land but because of the dimming the clouds & temp altered so much that it stopped it the monsoon, causing devasting effects on this poor country, ironically it is us in the western world with cars etc etc poluuting & the third world suffering because of it!! Madness!!

I see. So, we have once been miscalculated. Who is to say this won't happen again before we are near more serious danger ? :S
