isn't it the other way round

jews didn't have a homeland and after WW2 they were given nowadays israel and the palestinians were told to move out. (Palestine was part of british empire then i do believe)

Nope! It was the other way round.

The Jews believe that they have the right to live in Israel because in the Torah it says it's their "Promised Land". But, ahem, that doesn't really wash with non-Jews does it!

Well let's not tar everyone with the same brush.

The Israeli Jews, believe that they have the right to live in Israel because in the Torah it says it's their "Promised Land". The BRITISH goverment true to their age old policy of colonialism and divide and rule, (Northen Ireland, Cyprus, South Africa, India and Pakistan, The EEC, ect ect) listened to the scholars that said the "Promised Land" was in Palestine.

And as they ruled the region, and to make up for the horrors visited on the Jews by the Germans, or Nazi's, or Geman Nazi's (depending on how charitable you are feeling) gave Palestine to the 'Jewish nation' .

Understandebly the Palestinians felt a bit put out by this and set about getting their homeland back. Though the west has been fucking about with the region since medival times when the then savage Itallian and Spanish crusaders, went of to the the middle east to convert the basically civilsed moors to christianity.

Any how, there is a theory that the promised land is actuallly in Saudi Arabia. Which when you consider that Islam, Christianity, and Judeism, all worship the same gods and prophets : Allah, Yahwew, Jehova, Jesus, Mohamend ect. And have the same root. And that mecca and jersualem , are prolly the same place, And it's all desert anyway, is not such a stupid idea.

Clearly putting this to the Saudi Royal family, the Palestinians, and the Nation of Isreal, may not be as easy as all that. But as a solution to the most of worlds current problems it has a great deal going for it.

NB the Pope, The Chief Rabbi's, and the Leaders of the Islamic faith, all site atheiem, and unbelief as the major issue, and problem, they are facing, not the other religions. So you will prolly see a merger of all three in the next couple of hundred years. Which will really put the tin hat on it.

If you ask me we should send anyone involved in, or supporting of, organised religion to live on mars. Fucking loonies every one of them.

Except the Buddists, they are cool, no infrastructure, no priests, no oragnisation. Chilled and peaceful. Yoga, ect....

The topic is a bit too vague and the history a bit too deep to really have a directed discussion on here.

As for the Jewish people having sympathy for the Palestianians, it's hard to say especially when they're busy killing each other most of the time.

The current Israeli governemnt certainly doesn't have any sympathy with the Palestinians. They did have a moderate government a few years back who was working with the Palestinians towards peace but the president (Yitzhak Rabin) was murdered and since then Ariel Sharon, who's a c*nt, has been bombing and segregating the Palestinians against international law.

I don't really see a resolution to it as the people in charge of Israel are zionists and the palestinian fundamentalists and the christian fundamentalists will NEVER see eye to eye.
