what if any, form of exercise do you do?? Is it the gym, or at hoime, yogo, pilates etc or weights?

My new years resolution is to get fit, as im soo unfit its unreal & ive gined a few pounds too blushing.gifthumbsdown.gif

 

So been doing the usual cut down crap food & fat etc & exericses in my bedroom & im taking up pilates also.

 

Will get back in a size 8 w00t.gif

Take it easy, don't set any difficult goals and just enjoy it. You'll also not really notice much change physically, but after a month or so you should see signs that the excercising is working as well as feel it.

only thing is im really lazy and cant get motivated to exercise. anyone got any good ways to exercise for lazy people? lol.gif

hahah, well i got one of those sit up things, that help you do it haha, thats a bonus & makes it a bit easier tongue.gif

 

I just sorted my wardrobe & saw half my jeans etc did not go over my thighs now & that was enough to kick me up that arse!!! sad.gifmad.gifsad.gif

yup i know exactly how u feel!!!

 

i dunno what happened to me. all my life ive been so skinny, never had to exercise and could eat whatever i wanted. i could of lived of mcdonalds and still wouldnt have put on any weight.

 

over the last 6 months though ive been putting on weight steadily. dunno why though. ive started trying to eat heathily and walking to the shops etc instead of driving but i guess i need to do more. might get one of them sit up things as it sounds like my way to exercise!

I use to do about 200 - 300 sit ups a day when I went gym regular and circuit classes but tbh it doesnt actually help, all it did was give me muscle on my tum that stuck out so I never actually got it flat. I've heard just do 50 a day is better. Those swiss ball things are quite good! Also use to do 10 K runs 4 - 5 times a wk.

I stopped going gym/running regular (use to be real fitness freak!) when I got my dog - a yr ago and found I lost more weight in the right places just walking him - do 2 hrs walking most days with him.

Still piled on weight in last few wks tho - all the xmas crap & alcohol blink.gif
