ee i can't believe how blinkered you come across.

 

Firstly what medical education have you got and to what level? Please don't give me some tripe answer, just answer the question with a proper answer. Not oh i've read books, i mean like taking exams etc.

 

Secondly you're right about the NHS but you also fail to realise this is a major problem that is stemmed from our government. The government put no money, OR very little into drug research. If we didn't push the limits of the drugs that are around then no advances would be made. Surely you can see that?!?

 

Also what's the point of you going to the doctor if you know what's wrong with you already? Could it be because you can't get your perscription. There is a reason for that, they are qualified and you arn't!! I mean if you know medicine so well why arn't you a doctor?

 

You fail to realise that you're tarring everyone with the same brush. In EVERY industry and profession there are rouges, but there is also people that are trying to their best within constrants that they are under.

 

Drug companies spend millions in research into drugs and many years into researching them, (don't argue with that as i can quote figures) of course they are gonna push their product to get the money back. even a little basic knowledge of businesses would help you there. But that's how the pharmaceutical drug industry works.

 

As afore mentioned there are bad GPs out there, but there are rouges in every industry. just don't go tarrin everyone with the same brush. Don't bother replying as you're only being replying with the same drivel as you've posted already.

 

Oh just food for thought, why arn't you having a go at the government for messing up the NHS and not providing the equipment doctors, gp's, nurses etc need, rather having a go at gp's and tarring them all with that all so amazing brush of yours

 

Btw what do you do for a living? A doctor maybe?

its not very often i agree with people on here , but i have to agree with you scream................

 

as some of you may know my daughter has kidney problems so have to put a lot of faith in doctors and my GP.

my gp has been very helpfull with my recent problems, she has given me the medication i needed plus listened and refered me for further help. to say that gps are bad at their job is bollox. fair enough they can and do make mistakes, they are only human!

It's like most thing's I guess, you get the odd few that are not as good, so-to-speak, which in turn gives others a bad name, but I bet there is more good than bad!! Very demanding job!!
