CTW Admin James Posted January 23, 2005 CTW Admin Share Posted January 23, 2005 I dont think anyone here realises that anyone can add events to the shared calendar but that you can also add your own PRIVATE events/entries to the Calendar as well At the bottom left hand screen of the Calendar page there is a button called 'Add New Event' (or Click This) ... Then enter your event/entry details as normal but select the drop down against 'Type of Event' and change the default from 'Public Event (viewable by all)' to 'Personal Event (Viewable by all)' As you are aware your personal blog only lets you add entries for the current day (you cant add entries forward or back in time, however you can edit past entries). What this calendar will allow you to do however is to add your own private entries - for example what clubs you are going to etc. I'm thinking of hacking it so you can can specify which 'buddies' can see your private entries (if required) If you are worried that other people can see your events simply log out and view the calendar as a guest - you will not be able to see your entries, until you personally log back in. Not even mods or admins can see these entries, they are private. Quote James@ClubTheWorld.uk CTW Founder | ClubTheWorld.uk | Twitter | Instagram Clubbing the world together ...
