Dunno if I posted this up on the old board but this is my first attempt at making a track!

It's not completley finished but if you've got five mins give it a listen and let me know what you think.

not bad mate... little long on the intro (the intro souned a bit out of place and i thought it was of a much lower quality production-wise to the rest of the tune)

it could do with being shorter too

nice 'Quoth' sample in it tongue.gif

Cheers man! Suprised you liked it!

Do you mean the intro as in the breakbeat at the begining before the main kick and bass come in or the actual first part of the track i.e after the b-beat and before the b-down?

Did you think the track draged a little? A fe people have commented on this you see. I think I may put in another small b-down before the main b-down and maybe throw in some descreet acid lines to make it more interesting.

Oh yeah, whats quoth? huh.gif

the metallic tin can sounding echo drums are a sample out of an old aphex twin tune 'Quoth' by polygon window (an alias)

it does drag a little just needs to be a little shorter smile.gif

i agree with ian on this.

the breakbeat bit doesnt really do much for the tune. maybe if u cut that bit in half it might, but as it is its not really working with the tune.

the break is a little drawn out too

the hoovery-ish noices that come in at around 5:14 sound a little cheep. it sounds like u've ran short of ideas and needed to stretch the tune out somewhat.

other than that its got a great feel to it. u've done a good job on it!

i reckon its the sort of tune that would work well as an amazing 5 min tune rather than a 7 min set-builder (if u get me?)
