Ministry Of Sound Albums

does anyone agree that in the last few years the music on these plenty Ministry of Sound albums has gone from real good, to ok, to completely shite and you'll be lucky if i listened to it twice a year ever?

 

the Annual 2002 and the clubbers guide to 2002 were good, then the ibiza album was out which was ok, then the Annual 2003 and clubbers guide to 2003 at first thought they were great but now think they are pish! guide to summer 2003 i thot was ok but thats shite too

 

annual 2004 i have never listened to it much. probly bcos it wasnt very good... the house was ok.

i didnt get another MoS CD til the recent annual 2005 which is now just horribly shite n i dont wanna listen to it... even the house CD isnt that good either.

 

 

 

 

any views on this matter?

if you look up 'cheesy cock on a rock' in the dictionary, you're sure to find the MoS logo right next to the description title

 

last 5 years or so, MoS have gone downhill in my own personal estimation

 

...although mebbe' it would of been longer / sooner, had it not been for my youthful, almost chav ~ like nievity of the time, 5 years ago

Completly agree with you! Back in the old days,they were absolutly shit hot! Even got mixed by Pete Tong and boyGeorge,round about "95-"97 absolutly proper class House music around at the time! now its just "ministry of cheesy pop Trance" iI hate it!They have got way too big and only interested in money,itsc about what sells and not about what makes a good clubbing album! They have even Got a work out DVD with the Eric Prydz girls! How sad is that! just trying to cash in on the teeny boppers who by that shit and not us clubbers! :bid:

yeh i see it all the time

although i think someone in there must have some sense because they bought EUPHORIA from BMG records. these albums are the quality that i enjoy mixed by all these superstar DJs and mixed greatly.

fave trance album is a toss between True EUPHORIA mixed by Dave Pearce (thats the dark blue one) and The Very Best of (3CD Limited Edition) EUPHORIA mixed by Matt Darey and Adam White

class albums, really great!
