This is a 2 day event with onsite camping. 5 stages catering for all music tastes. Full line up is yet to be announced but it will be huge! Prodigy and foo fighters are already confirmed. I will update this thread as and when the line up is confirmed. Me and charlene will be goin, will be ace to go to something a bit different.

It's confirmed that the FOO FIGHTERS are set to headline Ireland's premier music festival OXEGEN 2005. Following the phenomenal sell-out success of this years first festival (tickets sold out 4 weeks in advance), OXEGEN is set to return to Punchestown Racecourse Naas, Co Kildare on Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 July 2005 (subject to licence).

In a major coup OXEGEN has secured one of the most exiting live acts ever Foo Fighters to headline the festival on Sunday night.

THE PRODIGY confirmed today they will join FOO FIGHTERS at OXEGEN 2005, Ireland's only annual multi stage music festival weekend which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July 2005 - subject to licence.

THE PRODIGY featuring original band members Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim are set to perform a highly anticipated festival performance at OXEGEN next year following the release of their number 1 album “Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned”. This news follows their sold-out UK tour which received rave reviews this month. Tickets for THE PRODIGY’s Dublin and Belfast dates this weekend sold-out within minutes of going on sale so fans who missed out can now see THE PRODIGY live at OXEGEN on Saturday 9th July 2005.
