Turn DJ Comp: 7 Days to Enter Your Mixes

There's just seven days left for DJs of hard house, hard dance, hard trance, hardstyle, hard-nrg and techno to submit their entrance mixes for Turn, the DJ competition from Emergence.

 

Turn will see six parties whittle down some of the best new DJing talent on the hard dance and techno scenes to just one person, the Turn DJ of the Year 2005.

 

The winner of the competition will get a set at an Emergence event. Addtiontally, we're in talks with other promoters and are working on arranging for the winner to get sets at other events as well.

 

The heats and the final will be judged, on rotation, by members of the Emergence team and other people from within the hard dance music industry. We're doing this to give entrants the chance to expose themselves to other promoters, DJs and producers - and if any of them hear a DJ they like and feel they can help in anyway, then it's all good!

 

DJ's wishing to enter need to send a mix CD of between 30 and 45 minutes in length to :

All Entries:

1) Must reach us by Fri 11th Feb 2005.

2) Must be accompanied by mixes of between 30 and 45 minutes in length. Only one entry and accompanying mix will be accepted per DJ.

3) Must be accompanied by a valid contact telephone number.

 

Also, thanks to all those DJs that have already sent in mix CDs, and good luck in the competition!

 

Remember, competition heat dates, venue and DJs making it through to the heats will be released after 12th February 2005.
