you dont need spacers on a car unless you have a wide body kit and the wheels look like they are going to get swallowed by the kit

its a corsa (one of the old styles)

 

everyone ive spoke to so far reckons i will because it comes with 145's as standards and its quite a jump to 215's and apparently the wheels will probably catch the inside of the wheel arches even without a body kit on. but no-one seems to know for certain whether i would. any ideas????

 

i guess really i need to go to a tyre place and ask them!

lol, dont get me wrong im not being insulting. i cant talk with my car which is in the process of being done up. ill have to get a recent photo of it and post it.

 

was just wondering if anyone could help me of with this, my car currently has 13inch 145's on it. im putting the alloys of my boyfriends car on it, which are 15inch and either 205's or 215's. will i need spacers on it or not?

u wont need spacers, dont worry unless ur driving a bit of a tank or a very old mini or VW bug lol

well it doesnt have power stearing....

 

 

i am rather worried when i put them on i wont physically be able to turn the stearing wheel to park it but atleast theyre my fellas alloys, its not like im paying for them!

they're really nice as well. he paid £650 for them

 

he's getting a 3 series though so he has no use for them.

 

he's already got a set of alloys sat in his garage off an escort rx (???) turbo from his last car that are doing nothing. he offered me them but theyre arent very nice

 

so its better he donates these to a good cause (ME!!!) than have them sat about doing nothing.
