well tell them to give u gift vouchers from shops u like and tell em what shops then they can get u a liitle summat to open but still u can get ya self stuff, my dad and mum always wana see what i got and at xmas well sales jus after i brought me a nice dress, new shoes with padding so my feet didnt hurt and jewelry and had a well nice outfit for new years eve
